| Article Title :: Positive Mind, Successful Life |
| |
|
It took me a long time to realise the benefits of positive
thinking. I had often heard people mention that if you think
positive, positive things will happen to you, I used to think
they were a bit weird. I now believe they were right and this
article explains why.
Growing up through the difficult teenage years and into my early
twenties, I felt very sorry for myself. I used to think I was
the most unluckiest person in the world. I had a bald patch the
size of a ten pence piece on my head, a speech
impediment(stutter), I was overweight to the point of being fat,
and was short for a male(5ft4).
I believed that I received more mickey taking out of me than
anyone else, and life was certainly (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Online Dating - Honesty IS The Best Policy |
| |
|
If you've never dated online before than it's difficult to know
where to start. Many of our members have told us that the most
difficult thing to do is write a profile. It's hard to write the
truth, rather than what you might think the reader wants to see.
You need to be honest with yourself, about yourself, and with
others. Don't short-change yourself. Don't compromise because
you're lonely, or because your membership is about to run out
and you still haven't met someone! I would also suggest that
it's okay to analyse your past relationship(s). Think about what
you liked and didn't like, and then don't change your mind! If
you didn't like it when your last partner smoked in the house or

| Article Title :: The Hurdles Of Commuting |
| |
|
Commuters have unique hurdles to overcome. How to stay connected
to family and community, how to meet personal needs when large
chunks of time are taken from the day, how to limit wear and
tear and stress from body and mind that commuting over the years
evokes are just a few.
The typical worker commutes 35 minutes one way and uses a car to
get to work. Whether your commute is 20 minutes long or over an
hour and a half, done via public transportation or your own car,
the stress of the commute can be exhausting and have short and
long term effects.
Studies done by universities, hospitals and government agencies
show that workers who commute function under emotional stress
that impacts on t (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Symptoms of Phobia |
| |
|
Once the fear has been triggered the physical reaction can lead
to a cycle of distress. The body responds to any naturally
stressful situation by tensing up. This helps the person perform
better. However if the reaction is misinterpreted and excessive
this can lead to unnecessarily high levels of tension.
Although a sufferer may realise that the muscular pain and
breathing difficulties they are experiencing are merely a
response to stress if the bodily reaction is extreme enough it
may give rise to a fear of the symptoms of phobia: a fear of the
fear. Anticipation of this discomfort, the fear of chest pain or
hyperventilation can produce the stress that triggers these
symptoms.

| Article Title :: Have Confidence In Your Flight Training |
| |
|
When you learn to fly,
everything is new to you. It is a lot of fun, but you are put
into situations that you haven't been put into before. And it's
a lot of fun but a lot of times it can be pretty spooky. Let's
say that you are flying for the first time through moderate
turbulence, it's really bumpy and uncomfortable and you are not
used to it. It can be pretty rough for a new student.
Also, another thing that can make new students a little bit
nervous is landing. And yes, landing is its own adventure. When
you are at a higher altitude, you have a lot of room for error
and you feel more comfortable. So approaching the ground can be
a little daunting.
So here's what I want to say to (read full article) |

| Article Title :: There's No Such Thing As Failure |
| |
|
I know that in these times it is all too easy to focus on

that everything about us could be better and needs improvement.
We are told that from head to toe, we are not good enough which
many people internalize as some failure on their part. This
brief article will help you see that with the right mind-set
there is no such thing as failure.
Think about it. They tell us we need us our feet need whatever
they are selling from lotions and potions to the most expensive
socks, shoes and boots. We are told that our legs need to be
strengthened, covered up or hidden. Thes (read full article) |

Many people would rather jump out of an airplane or tackle Mount
Everest than stand up in front of a group of people and give a
speech! Yikes! But nervousness is natural. Even a very
experienced professional speaker will get butterflies before an
engagement.
A lot of what you feel in this situation is simply the
adrenaline of excitement. Still, the last thing you want is to
be visibly trembling in front of your audience.
There are very specific ways to calm yourself down and keep your
nerves in check. Deep breathing and relaxation exercises are
wonderful. But there is absolutely nothing that will calm your

| Article Title :: MEETING ROOM DESIGNS |
| |
|
Theater Style Theater-style seating consists of several rows of
chairs facing the front of the room. This arrangement works best
for formal presentations, where participants are focused on the
presenter. Because there are no tables, this arrangement isn't
conducive to taking notes or working on a laptop. Because
participants can't easily take notes in a theater-style
arrangement, you should make the presentation available to
attendees in written or electronic format. This style is one of
the best for large groups, but it should also be noted that some
people are uncomfortable without a desk or table in front of
them. Classroom Style A classroom-style setup uses long, narrow
tables placed in (read full article) |
