| |
|
The Use of the Model's Zed Card
A Zed Card (Comp Card, Zed Card, or Model Card) is the number
one marketing tool for a model. They serve as a model's
portfolio, business card and interview. A comp card typically
contains a collection of 2 or more pictures and the models basic
stats - height, eye color, etc. - printed on 2 sides of an 8.5"
x 5.5" piece of card stock (12 pt stock.) Comp cards have been
around for many years as the essential marketing tool for a
model and they will retain this standing because they are an
inexpensive way to effectively and professionally showcase a
model's ability. Composite cards are used on three major levels
- they are used at first by models, then by age (read full article) |

| Article Title :: 10 Ways to Survive Today's Office |
| |
|
Life at work can be fun, serious, harried, confusing, and
rewarding. Sometimes it happens all in the same day. In a world
where the only thing constant is change, here are 10 things to
learn, not only to survive, but to thrive!
1. Don't expect anything - like someone to always tell you
what to do Have you ever sat and waited on others for direction.
(They should be telling me what to do right?) If someone wanted
to tell you what to do, trust me, they would have done it
already. Be confident and move forward.
2. If someone else is making a decision, let them own it Wishing
you had the authority to decide something on another's plate
won't change their decision. It also doesn't do them (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Does any other loss equal loss of love? |
| |
|
Have you loved and had the devastating experience of your
beloved leaving you? Have you felt the pain? Does any other pain
come nearer to it? Yes, the pain of losing someone by death may
come near to that. But even that is not comparable. By death,
you lose your sweetheart forever and know that she/he is no
longer in this world. But if he/she leaves you, you experience
the shock that is unsurpassed. You know that your beloved is in
this world itself, but you have no strength to find out where?
You have no strength to meet and find out the reason for the
betrayal. You get so numbed with the shock, that you can take no
more pain. So you are left to live with that pain yourself. And
that life (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Do You Need Anger Management? |
| |
|
Anger management is not just for crazed maniacs or disgruntled
executives. Learning how to manage minor and major irritations
is something everyone needs to do. You may want to start by
obtaining general anger management information and progress to
enrolling in an anger management class. But first you need to
recognize classic symptoms of uncontrolled rage that will alert
you to the need for anger management.
Everyone loses their temper at times. There is no shame attached
to getting upset when the dog has an accident on a freshly
scrubbed carpet or a subordinate fails to complete a needed
report for your one p.m. meeting. But if you find that you react
in extreme ways, it may be time to (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Infidelity Discovered: Why He/She Won't Tell Me the Truth? |
| |
|
Upon discovery of infidelity there is often a strong need to
know the details. What happened? When? Where? Why? etc. The
reasons for these questions are examined in my first article on
this subject: "Infidelity: Why the Need to Know is so Strong."
You have the need to know, but his/her lips are sealed or walks
away, ignores or bypasses your questions, puts it back on you,
denies or does other numbers on you to keep you away from
knowing what really happened. There are predictable reasons why
this happens. Here's some of them:
1. Your partner/spouse is involved in an "I don't want to say
no" affair. Your partner probably is a person wrapped up in his
own ego, personal needs, and life style (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Adolescent Anger Management Strategies |
| |
|
Adolescent anger management is becoming more prominent in our
society. Traditionally, children who enter this last acute phase
of bodily and mental development can go through some rough
times. As kids enter their preteen and then their teenage years,
chaos can ensue at times for everyone involved. A child or young
adult may feel that his or her body and mind are out of control
occasionally, and the parents and teachers who supervise
children at this age may tend to agree. Anger can spring out of
nowhere to challenge innocent requests and reasonable
expectations. Yet kids between the age of twelve and sixteen
sometimes react in unpredictable ways, surprising those around
them and even themse (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Emotional Affair or Friendship? |
| |
|
In a marriage, what are the limits for friendship with a member
of the opposite sex? Who sets these limits? What is the
difference between a friendship and an emotional affair? Is
emotional affair wrong? Does emotional affair help the marriage
by letting a partner vent out all emotional frustration, which
otherwise he/she would not have done with his/her marriage
partner? Or does it kill the marriage?
What is an emotional affair?
Most of us have friendships. Many of us are very close in some
friendships. We share quite a lot in such friendships. But when
one develops such a close friendship with one from the opposite
sex, it can be termed as an emotional affair. Sharing intimate

| Article Title :: Mesothelioma - Causes and Treatments |
| |
|
What Is Mesothelioma?
Mesothelioma is a cancerous disease that is becoming more and
more common. Affecting the mesothelial cells that make up the
mesothelium - the outer lining that protects the body's major
organs such as the heart, stomach and lungs - this form of
cancer is a direct result of regular and unprotected exposure to
asbestos. The symptoms and the latency period of this disease
mean that it is difficult to diagnose. Treatment for
mesothelioma is still being investigated through clinical trials
and research, but as a rule it responds poorly to the treatments
that are currently used.

| Article Title :: How to Shop for Jewelry Online |
| |
|
If you're considering a gift of jewelry for someone special or
as a treat for yourself, take some time to learn the terms used
in the industry.
1. Gold Gold means all gold or 24 karat (24K) gold. Because 24K
gold is soft, it's usually mixed with other metals to increase
its durability and hardness. If a piece of jewelry is not 24
karat gold, the karat quality should accompany any claim that
the item is gold.
2. Platinum, Silver and Other Metals Platinum is a precious
metal that costs more than gold. It is usually mixed with other
similar metals: iridium, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium and
osmium. Different markings are used on platinum jewelry as
compared with gold jewelry. These quality m (read full article) |
