Lenis Guess was born Feb 27 1940 in Virginia, Owner of "Lenis
Guess Production located in Manhattan, 612 8th Ave" self taught
musician and vocalist. , He completed his first Rhythm and Blues
Album entitled " I Can't Leave Your Love Alone,' and also two
gospel CD's entitled, " Thinking About Jesus" and" Spiritual
Warfare." He has also produced a Cable T.V. show called " Spirit
Train, and five musical plays on Broadway.
One of the great overlooked funk bands of the late 70s;
Producer Lenis Guess, the legends of legends, Virginia scene a
united composition with a dynamic style, individuality of style
thats right, who continues to wear the legacy of historic as
well; multi talented, writer, producer and composer, Lenis Guess
continues to turn out the soul of great inventors; it's the down
home blues on the dance floors of great soul, the composition of
his talents has touch many, he continues to furfill his God
given talent; Not just R@B on the dance floor; but also Gospel
Soul; The Virginia grove, the soul of soul; the definition of

styles being used in New York; Lenis worked with the tradiction
of funk base more so Gospel and Blues, his instructmental style
and ear for great sound, his up beat was dynamic; which
continued his career as one of the famous voices of the blues,
Lenis Guess continues to live, in the souls of great peaces of
work, some of Lenis great peaces were Titles include "Shake",
"Lost In Space", "Try My Love Tonight", "Two People Working
Together", "Music Is The Only Way I Can Communicate", "Goodbye
My Love Goodbye", and "Misery's Chant/I Was In Love With You".
Lenis Guess was a herioc legend in the area of Disco.
Lenis continued to grow he then rejoined Mr. Frank Gruida to
record a song that they wrote together called " Working For My
Baby which climbed the charts to #2 on station WGH and #3 on
station WNOR and was played on Dick Clark American Band Stand,
which started him to getting bookings in clubs and schools..
Lenis was also Guest performer at Station WRAP Music Awards at
Chryslers Hall; where he was voted best male vocalist of the
year. Lenis met Dorsey Brockington a gifted engineer and then
started a recording Studio together called Brocking and Guess.
Lenis had another hit on his Guess Record Label called " I keep
Coming back for more; he also got major record deals with
Polydor Records and Brunswick Records.
