| Among the safety equipments in a car are auto lights; among those lights in the car, the headlights play the most important role, that is, to light up the road ahead of you. All other lights in the car are used to enhance or reinforce the light emitted by the headlamps so that the vehicle would be clearly visible as it is driven down the road.

Article Title :: Torque Converter Lockup

Although the torque converter clutch is not part of the engine, it can make the car feel like the engine has a problem. The torque converter clutch is also known as a lock up converter. The lockup clutch has many purposes and is part of the transmission. A regular converter in an automatic transmission is made to slip at idle so that the car doesn't move. As the accelerator is pressed the RPM's raise and the torque converter will start to lockup or engage. When the converter engages the car will move.Even though the torque converter is engaged it never completely engages the way a manual transmission car clutch will. It will always slip a little, which is not very efficient. This i (read full article)

Article Title :: Automotive Dynamic Guide - How To Be Ready To Drive In A Foreign Land

If you are going to be behind the wheel of a new rented car, and in a strange foreign land where you have never driven before, what should you do in preparing to drive?Just not so long ago, I was in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, located just north of Singapore. As those of you who have traveled widely to Asia would know, the traffic on the roads in most of the asian countries is heavy throughout the day, and many times driving habits take precedence over traffic rules and regulations, especially when the searing tropical heat bears down on cool heads, and raise tempers! Before me was a small locally produced malaysian car - the Perodua Kancil- named after the ti (read full article)

If I asked you to name the least trustworthy figures in the American landscape these days I bet politicians would rank high on the list. I would also wager a tidy sum that corporate execs would not be far behind. It seems like most things, a few bad ones can really muck up a good thing. Maybe todays high priced CEO’s deserve our scorn and maybe they don’t. It doesn’t matter much. We all seem to think they’re a bit shadier now than we used to. The execs know it too. Ask Martha. That’s partly why I was completely baffled by the new “Eco-ad” campaign the Ford folks have begun. They’ve managed to take a corporate exec and make him look like a politician. Brilliant!Phot (read full article)

If you know me then you already know how I like to talk about the preservation of the classic American cars and muscle cars, I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to keep these cars on the roads, so we have a presence of them around.Isn’t it enough that our country is getting inundated by imports, and the fact that people are always saying how much better other countries are building cars then we do, well without Henry Ford none of them would be building cars as we know them today, and if I remember correctly he was an American. We need a heavy presence of American cars, just to help put way the dull drab looking imports, you know cars that have a little style and (read full article)

| How to Make Sure You Always Get a Great Start in KartingAs a driver coach I get asked more about making great starts than any other subject. It seems that there are loads of drivers who can put together quick laps and make passing moves no problem….but they get such bad starts that the race is already ruined before the end of the first lap.So, here is how I help some of the UK’s best drivers get great starts.Step 1.The key to getting a good start is confidence and self-assurance.
