| Article Title :: Communicating In Chaotic Environments |
| |
|
How do you, or would you, communicate in a chaotic environment?
That question was put to me by a reader who works in big,
frantically-paced telecommunications company. Many projects
operate at the same time, and many connections exist among the
project teams.
In this environment, teams work independently, but at the same
time depend on each other for critical information. Without that
information, time is wasted and progress slowed.
In a broader sense, the challenge is to create communication
systems that gather, process, and disseminate critical
information. With this information, teams can work more
efficiently and effectively.
The reader reports that one solution emerged out of a tec (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Strategic Clarity for Communication Management |
| |
|
Over the past few weeks I've been developing plans for a
communication project, a media relations campaign.
That's prompted me to reflect again on the communication
management process by which we transform communication ideas
into operational activities.
For me, the communication management process has four phases:
conception (strategy); development (tactics); operations
(execution); and review (evaluation).
Coming out of the conception or strategy phase, I think it's
essential to have strategic clarity, which means a clear,
focused objective (or objectives) that serves our ends, the ends
of our audience, and allows for effective development and
operations.
For example when I first sta (read full article) |

| |
|
With the increase of families wanting to share their broadband
connection, more and more non-technical consumers are failing in
common traps that could easily be avoided.
Simple and Easy Fortunately in America, the majority of ISP’s
(Internet Service Providers) offer an Ethernet Cable or DSL
modem with their service allowing for the consumer to just buy a
piece of hardware called a Cable/DSL router (better known as a
Broadband router), plug this in the modem and hey presto. After
some initial configuration your computers will be happily
sharing the broadband connection.
Across the Pond Europe, especially in the UK has a different
approach to America on how our Broadband connections ar (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Doing Business In Canada? The Quality of Your French is Key! |
| |
|
Doing business in Canada often involves translating various
business related documents from English to French and French to
English, as the case may be. In Canada, the Official Languages
Act awards equal official status to English and French. As a
result, various trade documents, labels and
operating/instruction manuals must be provided in both
languages. If you’re doing business in Quebec, The Charter of
the French language and various regulations make the use of
French mandatory in various communications and business related
situations. Depending on your industry or the type of work do,
choosing the right translation company might turn out to be a
bigger challenge than you think. Where (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Internet Cell Phone Deals - How to Take Advantage of Them |
| |
|
The internet can be a great place to buy your next cell phone.
How many times have you been in the mall and were harassed by
some pushy wireless telephone dealer? The internet store is a
sharp contrast to this type of environment. On the internet, you
can take your time, research a particular phone, and search for
the best deals. In addition to this, internet dealers generally
have better cell phone deals than their brick and mortar
competitors. But how do you take advantage of these better deals?
In 2004, the government approved number portability. Number
portability allows you to keep your cell phone number, even if
you switch carriers. The implications of this are crucial for
taking adv (read full article) |

Water Signs
Water signs are reflective, responsive and whose nature is
toward abundance, sometimes excess. Their hallmark is their
emotional, expressive nature.
Cancer – Caring - (June 22 – July 22) Cancer is ruled by the
Moon and its symbol is the crab. It is a Water sign, and as such
is connected to the world of emotion and the instincts. People
react in a positive way to your sensitive intuitive nature. If
it’s a love interest you are after, you instinctively know how
to get the attention you desire. Because you are a good friend
and confidante, people have a tendency to confess their sins to
you. When it comes to flirting you prefer a more demure or
reserved approach to one th (read full article) |

intellect and are gatherer knowledge using their intuition and
the head. They are known for getting what they desire and
achieving their goals. Their hallmark is making a difference in
the world, whether it be in their own circle of influence or
something much larger.
Gemini - (May 22 – June 21) Gemini is ruled by the planet
Mercury and is symbolized by the Twins. An Air sign, Gemini is
connected with communication. You have a way with words. You're

Earth Signs
In Part One, I talked about how astrology can determine how you
act and react in romantic situations. We also covered the fire
signs. Earth signs are physical and have to do with primarily
material affairs. They are natural and their feet tend to be
firmly planted on the ground, "earthy" types. The hallmark of
earth signs is practicality.
TAURUS - (April 21 – May 21) Taurus is ruled by Venus and its
symbol is the bull. Taurus is an Earth sign which is connected
with fruitfulness and stability. You love luxury and sensual
comforts such as silky satin sheets, robes fit for a king or
queen and beautiful surroundings. You seek comfort, security and
beauty. A perfect romance to (read full article) |

you explore how you approach your romantic love interests."
Heidi Richards

looking for? What kind of partner are you seeking? While reading
about your sun sign is not the entire answer to the age-old
challenge of finding the right partner, it can be a start. Your
