| Article Title :: Punishing the Victim -- Why Public Schools Pressure Parents To
Give Their Kids Mind-Altering Drugs |
| |
|
Public-school teaching is structured in such a way that it
inevitably bores millions of normal, active children who are
forced to sit in classrooms six to eight hours a day with about
twenty other immature children. The teacher has to cover the
curriculum, so she is pressured to teach all the kids the same
material in the same way. Few teachers have the time or patience
to know each child’s unique personality, interests, strengths,
or weaknesses, or give different instruction to each student.
Middle-school and high-school children often have to learn
subjects they can’t relate to, are not interested in, or that
frustrate them, such as history, trigonometry, or foreign
languages. As a r (read full article) |

| |
|
It is true that I am related to the King family and also to the
hamilton/Stewart BEES. Despite the family talk that gave me
insight as a young man I have taken decadess to piece together
their intrigue as they created the New World Order (which is not
so new).
Rufus King: (Said to be the fifth most important person
in the founding of America by another researcher.)
I have also presented a great deal of possibility-thinking in
regards to the elite families and their noble lineages or
genetic manipulations including the Merovingians that include
the likes of the Randolphs and Churchills. This is an
incorporation of special people into their bloodlines beyond
what Gardner documents (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Spring Cleaning is Always in Season |
| |
|
Lemon scents wafting through the halls, dust bunnies banished,
crisp, clean curtains waving in the wind. Ahhh, spring cleaning.
Did the season pass you by? Never fear. It doesn't have to be
spring for homeowners to get the itch to clean house. No matter
what season it is, homeowners can enjoy that same feeling by
shaking the dirt down from the ceiling and sweeping it out the
door.
Clean scents, polished floors, spotless window glass, and
scrubbed decks - here we come.
Plan Ahead
Before jumping in gather tools, cleaning supplies, buckets,
trash bags, boxes, and a few friends to help out. Wear something
old so good clothes won't get stained, or bleached.
Decide how much time it will tak (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Reservists, Enlistees May Get Deferral of Back Taxes |
| |
|
Reservists called to active duty and enlistees in the armed
forces may qualify for a deferral of taxes owed if they can show
that their ability to pay taxes was affected by their military
service.
The deferral covers active duty members of the military services
— Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard — and
commissioned officers of the uniformed services — Public Health
Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Reservists must be placed on active duty to qualify. National
Guard personnel not serving in a “federalized” status — that is,
called to active duty specifically by the president of the
United States — are not covered.

| Article Title :: Are You Eligible For Any Of These Tax Credits? |
| |
|
Taxpayers should consider claiming tax credits for which they
might be eligible when completing their federal income tax
returns. A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction of taxes
owed. Some credits are refundable – taxes could be reduced to
the point that a taxpayer would receive a refund rather than
owing any taxes. Below are some of the credits taxpayers could
be eligible to claim:
Earned Income Tax Credit
This is a refundable credit for low-income working individuals
and families. Income and family size determine the amount of the
EITC. When the EITC exceeds the amount of taxes owed, it results
in a tax refund to those who claim and qualify for the credit.

| Article Title :: How to Ease Travel Sickness this Summer |
| |
|
Travel sickness, whether brought on when travelling by air, sea
or car is a nightmare. If you are unprepared then the resulting
mess and smell can affect other people, spreading almost like a
virulent virus. On a plane or in the car the smell can take ages
to disappear - not ideal if you are at the start of a touring
holiday.
Travel sickness and in particular car sickness is often thought
to affect mostly children, however medical opinion estimates
that 80% of the population suffer from motion sickness at some
point in their lives. My daughter was fine until the age of 6,
when we discovered that the delay between announcing feeling
sick and actually vomiting is so small as to be insignific (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Parents --- Homeschooling Can Take A Lot Less Time Than You
Think |
| |
|
The time you will need to teach your children the essentials —
reading, writing, and arithmetic — is much less than you think.
Let me quote author and former public-school teacher John Gatto
from his wonderful book, Dumbing Us Down:
“Were the colonists geniuses? [i.e., why did our colonial
forefathers have literacy rates close to 90 percent?]. No, the
truth is that reading, writing, and arithmetic only take about
100 hours [italics added] to transmit as long as the audience is
eager and willing to learn.... Millions of people teach
themselves these things. It really isn’t very hard...”
To be conservative, let’s assume that because you’re not an
experienced teacher it takes y (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Won Ton or Kreplach? How We Raise Children in Our Chinese-Jewish
Family |
| |
|
I always knew my Oriental wife was Jewish; after all,
she grew up eating Chinese food!
I grew up in a Jewish neighbourhood of Montreal. My mother is
Sephardic Italian and my father is a Holocaust survivor from
Poland. I speak Italian with my mother and Yiddish with my
father and siblings. My wife, Belinda Cheung, was born and
raised in Hong Kong and came to Canada when she was 17.
I married Belinda in 1999. Our marriage has been working
wonderfully well. Despite our cultural differences, our
worldviews and approaches to life are remarkably identical. We
are busy raising our two young children, and our lives are
meaningful and fulfilling.

|
Are your kids begging you to take them camping, but you just
can’t find the time to take them on a camping trip? Or would you
like to introduce your kids to the fun of camping for the first
time, but aren’t sure if they will enjoy it, or might get
scared? Either way, camping out in your backyard will be a fun
way to spend the evening and night with your kids.
Get the kids involved in setting up camp in your backyard. Have
them help you set up the tent. Put them in charge of getting
their sleeping bags, flashlights and anything else they may need
into the tent. If it’s an option for you, you may even want to
make a campfire in your backyard. Check with your fire
department before han (read full article) |
