Article Title :: Smaller is Better: How the PSP Defied the Odds

When the PSP was first unveiled to the public, it looked amazing. The PSP was supposed to take portable gaming to an entirely new level, and Sony does seem to be achieving that. The obstacle against the PSP was not the design or games, but the fact that hand held gaming has always taken a back seat to actual full sized counsoles is what the PSP’s, and Sony’s, biggest obstacle were. The hand held gaming has always been the third cousin of game systems—he’s family, but not in the main group. Yet despite this, the Sony PSP has not only survived: but thrived. The PSP has a system for graphics and games that is unparalleled among all hand held systems. It is designed to be a   (read full article)

In fact I was recently on a plane and an entire row of passengers were all doing Sudoku puzzles. This past year a combination of five Sudoku puzzle books combined to out sell one of the big best selling books in the book marketplace. Almost every daily newspaper now features a Suduko puzzle right next to it's customary crossword puzzle. Often times, the Sudoku puzzle gets attention before the traditional crossword puzzle.Sudoku is a puzzle made up of nine cubes featuring nine   (read full article)

Article Title :: PS3: What’s the New Console on the Block Going to Be Worth?

Originally designed to be released in March of 2006, but delayed until November to work out some kinks left to work out with the new Blu-ray technology. Still, the PlayStation 3 is one of the most anticipated gaming consoles in years, and the promise is of a system that will simply blow the competition out of the water. Of course, all the gamers, as well as normal consumers, have heard this song and dance before with about every other games system that has ever come out (anyone remember Sega CD or the Dreamcast?). So what is true and what is hype? Is the PlayStation 3 really going to be worth all the hype (and rumored extra price), or will it be a let down? Based on the early sh  (read full article)

Article Title :: The PS3 Rumor Mill: Upcoming Games and Rumors

The system looks amazing. Though the need to fix a few minor bugs resulted in the PlayStation 3’s release date being pushed back, this has not diminished the excitement over the console’s impending release. Even though the Sony PS3 is designed to be more than a video game system, but to be an entirely new leap in multi-media in general, that does not change the fact that everything starts with the gaming system, and the gamers need to be satisfied if Sony is going to keep its strong showing in the video game market place. So it is no surprise that the rumor mills are full of speculations, thought, fact, and hope on what series of games the new PS3 system is going to bring with it.   (read full article)

Article Title :: Video Games From Cheats And Tricks To Reviews

As you probably know that nobody likes a cheater. However, when discovering video game cheats, "cheating" isn't what you're doing, but "discovering shortcuts, tips and tricks," or video game hints. Video games are usually incredibly complex, since the days of Pong and PacMan, that the game authors have actually hidden some back doors and other shortcuts to help the weary player. The problem is, most of the back doors are well hidden that the same authors have to leak the game cheats or nobody would ever find a back door. And it's not only the blood and guts video games that provide cheats to the game player. Take the perfectly bloodless "Finding Nemo" for the GameBo  (read full article)

Article Title :: Finding Your Identity in Online Games

As of today, there are dozens of Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMOPRG’s) slated for release or in beta. It is hard to decide on which online game to play. And most of us don’t have the time or money to play more then one game at a time. With all the competition, software companies need to come up with more creative ways of distinguishing themselves from each other and retaining their player base. After all the hype from the initial release of a game subsides, what keeps players engaged in the virtual world? For one thing, the game has to be fun and must continue to be fun. Beyond that, the players need to have a sense of ownership – they need to have a   (read full article)

Article Title :: Orrery Download for Oblivion

I downloaded the new mission for oblivion tonight and beat it in about 30 minutes. I think the experience was good but, not worth 200 points to purchase. Bethesda should have given this download away for free in my opinion. The adventure starts out with a letter you have received form the caretaker of the Orrery in the imperial city. Some bandits have stolen the parts to make the Orrery work. Who do they call to fix that problem? You guessed it.You start out to the north of Kvatch. The first camp,” Camp Ales" you square off against a Bandit carrier and a Bandit Hedge Wizard. They were pretty easy to beat. Just block and counter and the fight will be over quickly. My character is   (read full article)

Article Title :: Benifits of Online Games

Online games are perhaps one of the most popular types of games, a place where people meet on whole new worlds, create new characters and become entities that can grow into anything they like.Quite obviously the first and foremost reason for playing an online game is to escape the hassle of life, to go into a realm that helps you forget your troubles, to liven up a boring day.  Article Title :: An Introduction to Suduko and Suduko Game Information Sites

Sudoku is the latest puzzle craze to sweep the nation. If you search through various blogs and Sudoku game information sites, you will find that many people refer to this challenging game as the new Rubix Cube. If you grew up in the 80’s it would be difficult to forget the six-sided and six colored square, but Sudoku is doing just that.If you think that Sudoku is a new game you would be incorrect. In fact, it was created in 1979 and published in an American puzzle magazine. The game was created by Howard Garns, a former architect. The craze hit Japan in 1986 but did not take the center stage until 2005 when websites, puzzle books and even significant media coverage made Sudoku ga  (read full article)
