| Article Title :: There is No Better Time |
| |
| There is no better time to write down goals than now. Do not wait until tomorrow because tomorrow will never come. The year is also coming to an end, so it is a perfect time to make new year resolutions. If you haven't already written your goals down and you haven't by the end of the year, I'm afraid you might never write them down.A few points to remember when writing down goals:Make them detailed. Instead of 'I will become rich', say 'I will have 3 million dollars in net assets by 2007, and own a mansion on the coast.'
Ask yourself: ' When will I know that I have reached my goal? What will I feel, see or hear? What would be sufficient evidence that I have reached my goal? (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Re-plan Your Goals Every 6 Months |
| |
| There was a time when five-year plans were all the rage. But that was when workers can still count on signing up with a company for life. In the warp-speed world of technology, five years is an eternity. So how is one supposed to map out one`s career when the business landscape is always changing?Firstly, a plan is useless but planning is still essential. Instead of a five-year plan, try formulating a five-year vision. In that way, workers can chart a course they would like to follow. For example, today I am on the team; in two years, I would like to be managing it; in three years, I would like to be relocated to build a new team in a new market; and in five years, I would like to (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Resolution Without Commitment and a Plan is Another Word for Fantasy |
| |
| The standard refrain so many of us hum once the New Year has passed is our
inability to follow through on those ‘resolutions’ – gifts to one’s self - meant to
change our lives with an assortment of personal desires: getting out of
business, going into business, weight loss, smoking abstinence, more found
time, a profitable year, and saved funds are some popular ones. Why is it so hard to make them happen? Do we make these yearly promises
with the underlying belief that ‘a promise made to me is less important than a
promise made to another’? Is it easier to believe our own excuse for not
starting and not following through than if we heard it from some on (read full article) |

| Article Title :: When is Right Now? |
| |
| This moment is a funny thing to consider. When is it? It is right now and right now and now. It is every moment you breathe and every thought you embrace. So many people take the precious moments of their life for granted. Do you find yourself thinking, “One day I’ll do that.” Or “Someday my business and life will be on the exact track I want it to be.”I had that happen to me with golf. I wanted to play more, but it never seemed to happen. Then one day, I took a moment to schedule it in. Then I did it again. Pretty soon I was playing every week.Knowing I had set this intention, my clients and friends started inviting me to play with them. I was actually being (read full article) |

You have to be able to see it in your mind and have the passion to get there.Next you have to set some reasonable goals to get - there. Then you have to travel the path you have set to get you want to go. You have to faithfully follow through, on that path, step by step. Many people think they know what th (read full article) |

| I am going to write to you about a time-tested great way to start your New Year. You guessed it – making your list of monthly and yearly goals. The business philosopher Jim Rohn said that, “The major reason for setting a goal is for what it makes of you to accomplish it.
