Equine Cushings disease is caused by a tumor in the pituitary
gland, which is responsible for the production and regulation of
hormones. Symptoms include a long, shaggy coat that does not
shed, excessive drinking and urination, laminitis, a tendency
for recurring infections in the hoof (foot abscesses), and a
loss of muscle mass, especially along the topline and rump. At
Eye of the Storm Equine Rescue, we’ve discovered what appears to
be a cure for Cushings disease in horses. We’re not licensed nor
are we doctors, but we know what has worked for our horses and
for lots of others, so we wanted to share our experiences in

If you're just getting back from OshKosh, I'm sure you'll agree.
. . Great Show! In the seven years that I've made the
pilgrimage, I've still not seen it all!
This year, I committed to see parts of the show that I'd still
not seen before. I visited the Fly Market - a collection of
vendors selling everything from aircraft parts to T-shirts. I
walked through the Airbus Beluga and was amazed by its
capabilities. This year was the first year I ate from one of the
food concessions! In the past, I've left the grounds for a lunch
but found that I was losing too much valuable Airventure time.
But even with a 4 day trip, it's impossible to see everything!

I recently went to Alaska (for the first time) to go Halibut
fishing, and got much more than I had expected. After flying
across the country in big jumbo jets, when you leave for the
lodge from Juneau you go in a Float Plane or Sea Plane, as they
are commonly known. I went in a single passenger Plane, just the
Pilot and me sitting side by side. The flight to the lodge takes
