| Article Title :: Metal Detecting - Understanding the Technology Is Important |
| |
|
Metal Detecting for fun or profit can be one of the most
exciting and rewarding of hobbies. A metal detector can cost
very little, as low as $50 or higher that $400 for a top of the
line model. This is one hobby where you really do get what you
pay for, because the more expensive top of the line detectors
use the most advanced technology and they have the best features
available.
Metal Detectors use one of three types of technology:
BFO (Beat Frequency Oscillation) - Metal Detectors using BFO
technology have two coils of wire, one large coil is located in
the search coil of the detector, the other small coil of wire is
located within the System Control Pack. Each coil of wire is

| Article Title :: Organizing Digital Photos for Scrapbooking |
| |
|
Digital cameras are becoming more and more popular as time goes
by. As a scrapbooker, I find it easier to store and organize
digital photos then regular photos. This is how I organize them.
After loading your photos onto your computer, create folders.
Copy and paste photos by date and event. I like to even take
this a step further and copy and paste what photos I want per
layout. So when it's time to scrapbook, I simply look at my
different folders and decide which one I want to work on. I then
look to see how many pictures there are and figure out a layout
that would work well. I take in consideration different sizes I
could print the photo, with regular film processing you can't do
that. (read full article) |

| |
|
Copyright 2005 Dave Markel
Traffic flow: You want to avoid having ductwork running through
high traffic areas or in areas where it may affect the safe
operation of power tools. It is important to the performance of
the dust collection system that the ducting doesn't get dented
or crimped. This reduces air flow and may lead to blockages.
Ductwork arrangement of stationary tools: Especially true with a
table saw. It is difficult to duct a table saw upwards. The
ducting rising up to the ceiling could be a hazard to the safe
operation of the tool. This is where you will need to find
another route for the ducting. If you have a crawl space then
that is the most practical method.

| Article Title :: Making money away from Craft Shows! |
| |
|
As you gain experience selling your crafts at craft shows,
you'll be planning your schedule a year in advance. Although a
business plan isn't essential, a marketing plan is a good idea
to have as you plan your shows. You'll want to keep your
customers on your mailing list informed of new products, special
sales and upcoming shows. You may need to update your marketing
materials from time to time as well. In addition, between shows,
you may decide to pursue other paths to selling your products.
Some of these are: the Internet (your own Web site or eBay),
retail (your own store, space in a gallery or retail store),
wholesale (trade shows, distributors or sales reps), trade or
consumer magazin (read full article) |

| |
|

and much more. At Caesar's Palace, there are regular shows by
all types of famous celebrities including singers, comedians and
magicians. Caesar's Palace also offers a wide range of eating
venues from fine dining restaurants, to casual dining cafes and
plenty of bars and lounges. In addition to all of this, there is
a large shopping area, and at the famous Venetian you can go
gambling to your heart's content, then take a gondola ride to
wind down the evening. If you are not interested in gambling,
entertainment, dining or shopping, maybe you can wind down with

Installing New Pushbuttons in your Arcade Game Cabinet
Written by Tim Hensel
JammaBoards.com
Installing additional arcade pushbuttons into your current
arcade cabinet can be easier than you might think. There are a
lot of older arcade game cabinets around that have become nice
additions into arcade fans basements, garages, and game rooms.
Most of the older cabinets however only have a standard
two-player setup with only a single joystick controller and 2 or
3 push buttons per player. Unless the game cabinet is a
dedicated setup to one of the famous top 100 games of all time;
Pac-Man, Asteroids, Galaxian, and so on, the arcade game player
will usually want to upgrade their exi (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Get The Most Out Of Your Camera. (Part 1). |
| |
|
Would you like to take wildlife pictures like you see in
magazines, or even turn everyday objects into photographic art?
Did you ever see an image where only a small part of it is
sharp? Using the aperture ring correctly can maximise the
artistic look of your image.
Not only does it determine the depth-of-field, it also has the
power to direct the human eye.
The human eye is instinctively drawn towards noticeable points
of an image. These are usually the sharpest and most important
parts of an image. Using a wide aperture to limit the area of
sharp focus can direct attention to the most important elements
of your image and blur out any off-putting backgrounds.
This isn't that hard to (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Made Hands, Monsters to Mice |
| |
|
After the flop, much of the strength of your hand depends on the
character of the flop. Obviously, if you start with a pair, and
make trips, a full house or four of a kind, you have a big hand,
these are the Monsters. What is not so obvious is how the
strength of your hand changes when you hit a fair hand, but get
a flop that may have helped one, or more, of your opponents.
In the rare situation where you have a monster, hope that
someone either bets, or catches a card on the turn so they can
call your bet. You have an almost unbeatable hand, and the other
players are going to be scared off by the flop. Your goal in
this situation should be to keep as many players around as
possible, and t (read full article) |
