 Article Title :: Winged Fighters
This is a story or news article of an epic battle between two fierce commanders of the sky, the man-made airplane and the parakeet. Would man conquer nature or would he be overcome by it? For years, man has fought against nature, struggling through great natural disasters. Earthquakes have ravaged cities and countries. The sea, rivers, or lakes have risen over their borders to consume, unhindered, any creations of mankind. Volcanoes unstoppable powers have historically buried entire villages in magma and ash. What can save man from the devastation inflicted by nature? What can stand against the floods, the winds, and the fire of nature? Such is the setting of the man-made airplane versus na  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Second Flight
My first flight was with my brother's plane, where we ended up crashing our plane into a tree over the river, luckily it fell on the bank. Then we crashed into a tall pine tree, where the plane's wings fell off, and the plane became stuck in the top of the tree. After some time and somewhat of a struggle, hitting the top of the tree with a pipe, we finally removed the plane from the tree. The wings were off, and they had been chopped up somewhat by the propeller that was located above the plane, between the wings. The plane was still in condition to be able to fly again, once we did a little work on it and took it to a safer area. That was until our parakeets pecked it to pieces, but that i  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Samurai Sword Buying Guide
Take the Thaitsuki Nihonto swords, they're forged using a 400 year old family method, are you can normally find them for under $1000, however people are realizing more and more that they are very high quality swords, so their prices probably won't stay low for very long. Here are a few qualities to look for in a quality samurai sword. An authentic samurai sword should be at least a high carbon steel forge blade (like the Thaitsuki swords) or a folded steel blade. A stainless steel blade is not a blade that is forged using traditional construction methods and should only be used for decoration. Many of them look really nice, but they absolutely must not be used for any type of cutting exerc  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Shih Tzu - Toys and Special Treats
Inspect your dog's toys often. If there are pieces bit off the toy, discard it. Usually small pieces of a toy or chew will pass through a dog's system, but they could end up causing an intestinal blockage instead. Flimsy vinyl or plastic toys or balls with squeakers and bells in them usually don't hold up. Some shih tzu will just tear at the toy until they get the squeaker out. The squeakers and bells also pose a problem of your shih tzu choking on them if he tries to swallow the objects. Shih tzu like to carry around stuffed toys in their mouth. Get stuffed toys made especially for dogs. Children's stuffed toys will usually have noses and eyes that can be easily chewed off. Kong toys ar  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Are you sure the XBOX 360 is the right machine for you?
Admittedly the specs of the upcoming XBOX 360 are fabulous and enticing especially to those comparing the look of games on the older XBOX with current spec PC gaming platforms. Aside from the raw specs of a 12x dual-layer DVD-ROM drive, an IBM CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz and a high definition capable graphics system from ATI, the XBOX 360 is also much smaller than its predecessor. Measuring only 3.3 x 12.2 x 10.2 and weighing in at 7.7 pounds, the XBOX 360 has a more living room friendly stature. One of the most anticipated features is that of the ATI graphics capabilities for high definition output. For those with suitable displays the XBOX 360 will support   (read full article)

 Article Title :: Why Buy Property Overseas? A case history.
Copyright 2005 Hugh Griffin This is a true case history detailing the purchase of a holiday home overseas. By describing a real-life experience of buying a home in Spain we explain why people buy property overseas and show how to buy an overseas property with minimum outlay. Mr and Mrs Jones bought an apartment in Spain in 2002 for 107000 euros. It is a lovely three bedroom apartment only 10 minutes walk to a beautiful beach. They had it valued recently (October 2005) for 155000. An increase of 45% over three and a half years. The reason they had it valued was because they wanted to remortgage. In fact the mortgage company's valuer was over-cautious because an identical property next door  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Shih Tzu Article - Behavior Modification
Do you have a shih tzu that paws at your arms or jumps up on your lap constantly? The cause might be that he needs lots more exercise, not necessarily direct attention, but just more exercise. Try taking your shih tzu for a vigorous walk. For some, 10 to 15 minutes a couple times a day or one long romp around the yard is adequate, for others, it might be less than this. Make sure your shih tzu is not trying to tell you something else. Remember he is totally dependent on you so be sure his basic needs are met such as, is he hungry or does he need to relieve himself. If you put in 1/2 hour or so of taking care of your shih tzu's needs before focusing upon work at your desk or sitting down t  (read full article)

 Article Title :: First Flight
I, along with some others in my family, received radio control airplanes for Christmas. I have long been interested in airplanes and flying. I took ground school while attending college, but did not have the time or the money to complete my flight training. I still intend to complete flight school sometime, however, whenever it is possible for me to do so. I also went skydiving once, just to try it. I wrote my last journal entry to say "goodbye" to everyone the night before I went and jumped out of a plane several thousand feet up in the air. Skydiving was fun, but I think I liked just flying around in that little plane more than jumping out of it. It was relaxing, but exhilarating and exci  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Favorite Hobbies - Model Airplanes
Building model airplanes or flying radio control airplanes is a popular hobby. It is something educational, and can give you a feeling of intelligence and accomplishment. There are also people who are just avid airplane fans and like to collect handcrafted mahogany airplanes, which are a little more expensive, but worth it to those are really interested in Model Airplanes. Mahogany is a fine type of wood that the planes are designed from. Many types of nice furniture are designed from mahogany.
