| Article Title :: Comic Book History, Fascinating! |
| |
|
The origins of the comic book are somewhat controversial and
perhaps the jury is still out on comic book history. So lets go
back to the cartoonish broadsheets of the Middle Ages, which
were parchment products, created by anonymous woodcutters. These
could have been the very beginnings of the comic book.
As mass circulation of these broadsheets became possible, they
soon developed a market, particularly at public executions,
popular events for centuries (ugh), which drew thousands of
happy spectators. Many of these spectators would invest in an
artist's rendering of a hanging or burning, and thus making a
very lucky day for the broadsheet seller.
The broadsheet evolved into higher-level c (read full article) |

| |
|
Ghost Hunting can be very fun and yet at times it can be one of
the most terrifying things you will probably ever do in your
life.
The following are just a few of the things folks have
encountered during ghost hunting or paranormal investigations:
1. Smells: These smells can seem to come from no where, and
develop instantly and disappear just as fast. The smells are
often putrid like rotted meat, or like fresh bowel movements,
and are very overpowering at times.
2. Apparitions: Some spirits appear as barely visible forms,
while some become as solid and normal looking as a living
person.
3. Clouds - Mists - Masses: Often fleeting shadows, things seen
out of the corners of the eyes ar (read full article) |

Color Every Time |
| |
|
Color is everywhere, in your clothes, in your jewelry. Color is
life. Fashion and color coordination can make or break your
carefuly planned outfit.
Here's a bit of color theory with a fashionista bent.
Primary colors
These are red, blue and yellow. In theory, you can make any
color from these three primaries (except white, which is really
an absence of color). In practice, it depends on what red, blue
or yellow you start with, but we are not mixing paints here, so
just remember that the primary colors are red, blue and yellow.
You'll learn why in the next step.
The secondary colors are the colors you get from mixing equal
amounts of any two primaries. (If the primaries are pure, mixing (read full article) |

The nature of your craft show business and your budget will

of your crafts at craft shows will also have a considerable
effect on whether or not you will need to hire employees.

| Article Title :: Thoughts about digital Snap Shot |
| |
|
What is it that makes a good picture a great picture? For a run
of the mill shutter bug like me, the answer can be summed up
with three words, subject, composition and color; acronym SCC.
Unlike photographers of the late eighteen hundreds, todays
photographer has unlimited possibilities for a truly great snap
shot. To attain this level, you must develop the awareness of an
observer. The rule of thumb that I follow when snapping, "more
is better", you can never snap too many pics. Out of a hundred
snaps, I can usually find two or three that make the grade for a
great snap shot.

| Article Title :: The Secret History of King Arthur and Robin Hood. |
| |
|
Most historians place the Arthurian period in the fifth century
AD, and so this is where I began my historical journey to find
the 'real Arthur'.
In about 402 AD, Stilicho, the Vandal Regent of Rome, needed the
remainder of his troops back in Rome to defend the homeland
against the invading Goths. This left Britain militarily
vulnerable and weak, and by 410 the Anglo-Saxons were mounting a
terrible invasion that set the countryside alight. But why did
the Saxons delay their invasion? The answer lies within the
extremely clever way the Romans had previously cleared the
country of what they called 'barbarians' - i.e. those people who
would have either utilized inside intelligence to assist a (read full article) |

| |
|
Working with stained glass can be a very rewarding hobby, but
this craft is still shrouded in mystery and not a lot of people
know what it implies. Here are some of the frequently asked
questions related to stained glass:
1. What kind of equipment do I need?
There are a few basic tools that you will need if you wish to
create stained glass art. You first need to setup a work space
and make sure you have enough room to store some tools as well
as the glass material itself. Other than that, you will need a
glass cutter and a glass grinder, as well as two sets of pliers:
running and breaking pliers. Other accessories will come in
handy, such as a soldering iron or copper tape.

| Article Title :: How to make a comfy cushion from an old t-shirt |
| |
|
Is an old favourite t-shirt to worn out for you to wear anymore?
You could transform that t-shirt into a comfy cushion instead.
All you need is some scissors, needle and thread. And something
to stuff your new cushion with. Another old t-shirt that would
have been discarded would be fine as the stuffing.
Make sure the t-shirts you use are clean.
Step 1 Turn the t-shirt inside out.
The t-shirt has to be inside out when you sew the seams, so that
the seams would be hidden when you turn it the right side up
again.
Step 2 Seal up the bottom of the t-shirt.
Sew right across the middle of your t-shirt parallel to the hem,
and back again to make sure that seam is strong.

| |
|
Photographers have been trying to utilize the light of the moon
in their landscape photography ever since the photographic
process was invented. It was not until World War II, however,
that technology had improved enough to make night photography
possible.
Today, despite technological advances, knowing the phase of the
moon during a nighttime photography shoot is important as it
will affect everything from the type of equipment that you'll
need to the actual composition of your photos.
When embarking on a night photography trip, there are standard
types of equipment that you will need to take with you.

exposure times is a mu (read full article) |
