| Article Title :: How To Use Public Domain Files Intelligently Part 5 |
| |
|
You probably would have heard or read about this example that
I'm going to share, but for the sake of those who didn't
know.....
Do you know who wrote Snow White & The Seven Dwarves? Walt
Disney? You know it wasn't. But most people cannot name the
original author because Snow White is almost synonymous with
Disney. Why?
Disney took what was already in the public domain and REPACKAGED
it into a brand new product. A cartoon feature-length movie,
that has been watched all over the world. He created a classic
out of public domain that is loved by people of all ages.
I'm not suggesting you go make a movie out of that public domain
file in your hard disk. (Well, you can if you want to).

Get More From Your Camera Phone
It seems that in recent times, it's no longer the case that the
main use of a mobile phone is to make phone calls. The cost of
manufacturing miniature components has fallen dramatically,
allowing us access to a host of multimedia applications on the
latest mobile phones. We can now take pictures, listen to music,
watch and make videos clips, access the Internet, make notes and
even make phone calls on our mobile phones!
Not so long ago, people commuting to work may have taken with
them a mobile phone, maybe a personal organiser and some form of
music player to help alleviate the boredom of the journey. Some
people in certain occupations like Estate Agents (read full article) |

| Article Title :: It's Getting Harder to Watch Movies |
| |
|
After a long, exhausting day you came home, had your dinner and
then sat in front of the TV looking for a nice relaxing movie.
Nothing! Then suddenly you remembered that you bought the CD of
the new, Oscar-winning movie "Million Dollar Baby". You took out
your laptop, inserted the first CD and hit "play". To your
surprise, the only thing you could see was a green screen. You
took out the CD, cursing at the media market that gave you a
"broken" CD for the fifth time. Tried the second CD; again the
frustrating green screen. First thing in the morning, you took
your "broken" movies and went to the shop. Having yelled at the
owner of the shop for five minutes, you suddenly noticed the
cynical s (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Color Theory Applied to Presentations |
| |
|
Everyone knows that color can make a presentation more
interesting and stimulating to look at. It can also convey
information, as in the differently colored slices of a pie chart.
But color used improperly is worse than no color at all. Bad
color choices or combinations can actually distract viewers from
your message and can even cause unpleasant feelings in them. The
following guidelines can help you use color effectively in your
presentations:
* Too much color can be distracting. Resist the temptation to
decorate your slides with a rainbow of colors. Graphic elements
(such as charts) should never contain more than five colors;
text slides should use at most two main colors and a third f (read full article) |

|
When DVD technology came out, a lot of people thought that it
was not going to last. Well, as happened with CDs back in their

With more and more players and accessories available everyday,
it will not be easy for any new standard to gain the crown the

| Article Title :: How Do Jay Abraham's Fundamental Truths for Increasing Your
Profits and Audio Tie Together? - Part 1 |
| |
|
Should I refresh your memory about what Jay Abraham teaches?
One of the fundamental truths according to Mr. Abraham is that a
business can only grow in three ways:
1. By increasing the number of customers (we'll refer to this as
your marketing strategy).
2. By increasing the product's price (we'll refer to this as...
well, your product).
3. By increasing the number of times a customer purchases from
you (we'll refer to this as your back-end).
So, what is the connection between multimedia, specifically
audio, and maximizing the three ways to grow your business; i.e.
your marketing strategy, your product and your back-end?
Just keep reading...
