| Article Title :: Paternity Testing: To Be The Father Or Not To BeÂ…. |
| |
| Before you can understand the importance of paternity testing, you must first understand the DNA element involved and why DNA is used to establish paternity. DNA is the pattern for your genetic makeup. Each and every person has a different pattern of DNA. However, persons belonging to certain ethnic backgrounds, certain races, or simply certain features, can have DNA that shows related characteristics. No two people, except for identical twins will have the same DNA.
Every person has 46 chromosomes in each cell. The only exceptions are the sperm and egg cells. They each have 23. At the moment of conception, however, the 23 chromosome from the sperm and egg combine to form 46, an (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Why are there so many fat kids? |
| |
| I can remember when there was only one “chubby” kid per class. Now one in three, by my informal survey and the government’s official tally, would be eligible for this form of verbal abuse. Actually, one child in ten is considered morbidly obese and the other two in ten just obese or overweight.
ItÂ’s not just the couch potato, chip-munching, remote controlled kids with the problem. I see plenty of active, fat kids at the baseball games, soccer tournaments and swim races. Many have normal weight parents who are active themselves in sports.
So what are the causes? YouÂ’re probably going to blame the fast food industry, cars, and a lack of physical ed (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Are Chat Rooms A Menace To Your Children? |
| |
| My answer would be: yes, with qualifications.
I've been running internet chat rooms since 1998, at http://www.tigertom.com/chat_rooms.htm. Nothing fancy. The software was freely available. I just had to make some important modifications: adding bad word filters and automated 'kicking' (ejection from the rooms).
You think free speech is a good thing, until you read what anonymous, malevolent young men say to fifteen-year-old girls. It isn't Shakespeare, let me tell you that.
That's another key point: anonymity. A pillar of the free speech argument. Let freedom fighters and the repressed masses have their say! Except it's more likely a twenty-five-year (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Missed Opportunity - Are my parents to Blame? |
| |
| Parent's have undying love for their babies which grows stronger and stronger each and every day.
The infancy months where four hourly feeds are followed by the hand aching task of burping baby. Dribbles of milk flow through your fingers as the infant rests his/her weary scrunched up face in the palm of your hand fighting off the land of nod. What is baby thinking? As he/she loses the battle to stay awake.
Then we have the nightmare months of the toddler years where mum and dad need eyes in the back of their heads. It is at this time we teach the toddler to walk/talk, and when they do we tell them to shut up and sit down.
It only takes a second for baby to s (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Joint Custody: 10 Strategies for Co-Parenting with an Uncooperative Ex |
| |
| Almost six years ago, when the father of my children and I divorced, we wholeheartedly agreed to share joint custody of our two children, who were 3 and 6 years old at that time.
During our nine years of marriage, we had never argued about parenting philosophies or values. I saw no indication that parenting after divorce would be any different.
So, with the help of lots of books and research, I set about creating a lovely best-case scenario of how it would be after the divorce: co-hosting birthday parties, welcoming each otherÂ’s new partners into an extended and joyful family unit, sitting together at their school and sporting events while beaming with pride at (read full article) |

| Article Title :: How To Save Hundreds Of Dollars Per Year On Baby Gifts |
| |
| Think for a minute. How many baby showers have you attended in the past year? Now think about how much money you've spent in the last year on baby shower gifts. One, two, may three hundred? For some, the answer could easily be several hundred dollars. Wouldn't it be a lot easier and cheaper if you just made the gift yourself? I know what you're thinking, "But I'm not creative. I can't make anything." The truth is, there are many gifts you can create with very little time and effort.
One idea you might consider are baby gift baskets. You'll find wicker baskets, as well as decorative ribbon and lace at your local craft store or discount store. To fill your basket, purchase baby c (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Baby war on PLAQUE attack (Teeth) |
| |
| (A tube of toothpaste)
If I can not help the molars I meet
Don't forget there's a dentist down the street
And if he can't help, then you have made a boob
It was your lack of co-operation of squeezing my tube.
A smile accompanied by a set of pearly whites should come from within the mouth and not from a glass on your bedside table.
If toothpaste could talk then may be we could find out what goes on behind the scenes on how it goes to war on preventing tooth decay and what plans are drawn up before commencing its battle on plaque attack, instead we have to rely on the instructions on the tube.
Toothpaste a recipe for a beaut (read full article) |

| Article Title :: MIRACLES are made in heaven - Not schools (Goverment Funding) |
| |
| I would say the education department is celebrating with the injection of 380 million smackers received from the government to help fund schools with the new healthy eating diet plan.
Hallelujah and about time too, hallelujah my foot let us do our sums. If we break down this grand total between them all you will find secondary schools receive approx 6,000 pounds and infants around 4,000.
Feeding the five thousand on bread and fish should be left in the hands of a miracle worker, namely Christ. Schools a place of learning where children are taught to read and write and now on top of that being told what to eat
The introduction to a healthier diet plan i (read full article) |
