| Article Title :: Forbidden Fruit . . . Myth or Reality? |
| |
| 'With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls;
For stony limits cannot hold love out,
And what love can do, that dares love attempt.
Therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me.'So said Romeo when, having scaled the walls of the Capulet home he is reminded by Juliet that 'this place is death, considering who thou art, if any of my kinsmen find thee here.'The theme is a familiar one – love overcoming opposition – and even thriving, despite it. The greater the efforts to put out the flame, the stronger it burns. Perhaps love is too ephemeral a quality to stand up to scientific enquiry, but do we really need proof? We all know that for (read full article) |

| Article Title :: The Child Support Crisis |
| |
| The issue of child support is touchy to say the least. There are many problems with this system. The first and foremost problem with the child support system is the fact that many non custodial parents are skipping out on their child support with no repercussions. This is a crisis for the custodial parent who has limited income and no way to enforce their child support order.Many states offer a collection service for child support, but these systems are useless if the non custodial parent chooses not to pay by simply not working. The state agencies do little to collect from a non custodial parent unless they are handed the perpetrator, lock – stock and barrel. They will actually (read full article) |

| Article Title :: How to Occupy the Kids While You Work |
| |
| I did child care in my home for eight years. I learned
something that became a priceless bit of knowledge to me.
It pays to have some toys and games that are not available
to the kids everyday.
Of course I had a huge stock of toys and games that were
accessible in the play room all the time. But I also had a
huge box of lego blocks that only came out of my closet on
rainy days.Some other items that I kept in the closet for rare
appearances:A set of hand puppets.
A box of Barbie dolls and clothing.
Beads and string.
Hot wheels cars and track.
Toy Tea Set.These kinds of toys when they are available all the time
usually end up thrown (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Imaginations Explode! When You Read To Your Children! |
| |
| The love of a child can not equal any emotions you feel on this earth. As a child I loved to read. I would read and read and get lost in stories of adventure and mystery. I would go to my friends birthday parties and find a stash of comic books. I would be lost in some adventure hanging from a tree like Tarzan or who ever I was reading about at that time.As I grew older, I realized that reading is magical. It can take you to places you would not ordinarily visit. It can teach you things you can never even imagine. Your imagination explodes, the sky is the limit. The love of reading is so special to me, I will never stop!Children that are avid readers are better students and (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Indian Winter |
| |
| I made my teepee where the hunting is good,
It stands on ground where a great wolf stood.
Its powerful spirit will protect my home
And keep me safe when I must roam.
The season draws near when I must kill the deer;
We will prosper or die before Winter is here.Yellow Moon lay awake as the fading stars crept across the smoke hole. False dawn lightened the eastern sky while wakening birds shattered the silence. The day's list of chores filled her mind, an occasional elusive thought keeping her from completing the tally.There were the constant problems of finding dry wood for the fires, the filling of their three precious wat (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Advantages Of Getting Tutors |
| |
| Tutors are basically teachers who help students or learners to obtain more information and skills on specific subjects. Tutors are professionals who are considered knowledgeable or experts in their specific fields like typing, math, English or other subjects.
Generally, students who require one-on-one training on a particular subject require coaching outside school hours. Both adults and students sometimes require extra help in some subjects of areas of knowledge and this is where the tutors come into the picture. Often, there are children who require extra assistance in reading or in speech. Likewise, there are also adults who can benefit from individualized teaching in these (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Taking Back Sunday |
| |
| If you read my article, “Decaying Morals,” then you know I take a hard stand on what I see as a steady unraveling of the moral fabric in society. As much as I would like to start a crusade, the end purpose of which would be to awaken us to this negative trend, I realize that I am only one person with little resources to accomplish this. I do have my writing ability and it is this that I intend to use to at least have some impact on what I see as a most important social issue these days.Without waxing too philosophical, we can examine the issue of moral decline and come up with at least a few reasons as to its cause. A lot of these reasons have been put forth by others and so (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Can You be a Parent and a Friend to Your Kids at the Same Time? |
| |
| Many parents today worry about being strict and enforcing discipline with their children out of fear of losing them as friends. However, if you really look at the parent/child relationship it's actually quite different from that of a friend. With none of my friends did I ever share the deep and intimate connection that I share with my kids. If I were ever asked if I wanted to be my child's friend instead, I would quickly say "No way!" I consider that as quite a step down from the connection we presently have as parent and child.
Many adults have personally experienced growing up and growing away from a constant power struggle with their own parents. No matter what you did as a (read full article) |
