|
God is love and He dwells within you. When you truly love, it
is God loving through you. Therefore, it is never wrong to love.
Love means you love enough to do whatever is in other's best
interest, meeting the needs of their heart. Sometimes, that is
easy and wonderful. Other times, it is very hard and painful.
But, love never fails. It will always accomplish the purpose in
which God gave it.
In any area of service wherein God calls you to love, yet doors
are closed, it becomes a heartache and longing within. You may
even learn to be content. However, your soul will never,
otherwise, be complete. As it is God who lives within you, it is
God who prompts your heart to love. And, He doesn (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Grace for Grace |
| |
|
Grace: God’s unmerited favor, unconditional love, when we get
what we don’t deserve, when we get something far greater than
anything we deserved, when we hit the end of the road and find a
second chance, salvation, forgiveness.
When your child has been severely injured, due to your neglect,
yet they recover without permanent scars - then you know grace.
When you’ve been unfaithful to your mate and that love is
restored - then you know grace.
When you’ve made a mistake of catastrophic proportion and
someone else pays your bill - then you know grace.
Grace looses clinical definition when it happens to you - when
it becomes very real, personal, and undefinably joyful.

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are
spiritual, restore such a one in the SPIRIT of MEEKNESS,
considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted," (Ga. 6:1).
How many times have we had the urge to Lord it over someone
fallen; to look at them in disgust, to shun their very presence,
to talk behind their back, to refuse their service, to forget
all the good they've done, to spit in their face and kick them
when their down?
Those who receive people in meekness have learned a very
special lesson. In the right place, at the right time, under the
right circumstance - there is no sin we couldn't be tempted
with. Only by the grace of God that it isn't me.

| Article Title :: From Orphans to Royalty |
| |
|
The first time I read Ezekiel 16, I cried all the way through
it. It's a story of God's heart, as a betrayed husband; with
every jealousy, hurt, rage, or emotion felt by humans.
Yet, whenever we're hurting, few consider if they're doing the
same things to God. Whether spiritually, literally, or both …
perhaps each of us have once been such a person who betrayed God.
Just as dust returns to dust, blood returns to blood (vs. 22,
36), "till the pride of man be broken (vs.15) and we're ready to
accept God's way (vs. 55) - whatever that may be. And, just when
you see your blood for what it is and you're ready to accept the
punishment you know you deserve, God reaches down and loves you

| Article Title :: Counting Them Happy |
| |
|
"Take ... the ... prophets for an example of suffering
affliction, and of patience ... we count them happy which
endure," Ja. 5 10-11.
Satan has used this passage to rob us of a victorious life. Any
happiness you see is likely just a cover.
It is often thought we're to patiently endure whatever horrible
things that come our way, to be victims of our circumstance. The
only blessings we expect to see are in the life to come.
Occasionally, I've heard well intended Christians say, "We're
never going to get through the trials of this life until we get
to Heaven."
I have this urge to respond, "Don't say that! IT ISN'T TRUE!"
But, I also understand that they wouldn't say it except they

| Article Title :: Consequences |
| |
|
God has moments of anger, like as do we. However, some have
misconceptions about His response. There's an unspoken law of
consequences between the forces of good and evil, a result of
being born into a sinful world.
In observing my daughter, as a very young child, whenever she
was disobedient. If I didn't discipline, she'd suddenly become
injured or some other mishap. It was as if God was punishing
her, or so I thought.
Once God gave me an example of how it really is.
Imagine yourself standing between the sidewalk and curb. Your
hands are wrapped behind your back, tied to a tree. A car is
coming and your child runs into the street. You've no physical
means of reaching that child.

| Article Title :: Come as You Are |
| |
|
Have you ever dreamed of being such a wonderful person and
devoted servant of Christ that …
1.)your heart overflowed with love toward you fellow man?
2.)others could truly see Christ in you?
3.)it would be a joy being upon your presence?
4.)people would come to you seeking godly wisdom, their ears
falling upon your every word.
5.)the moment you entered a room the atmosphere would suddenly
change?
6.)whenever your mouth opened, the most humble words would flow?
7.)in your speech would come words of comfort, healing, and
direction?
8.)you’d be able to know the needs of both those near and across
the way?
9.)you could actually hear the voice of God direct and help you

| Article Title :: Christmas |
| |
|
If the Lord's return is a bit different than we thought (flying
out of here in the literal isn't exactly what He meant) we would
be ashamed for Him to return at Christmas; seeing us celebrate
His birth the same way pagans do. Christmas would/should never
be the same again.
When we consider giving gifts of love, do we think of pretty
packages to go under the tree or do we consider what Jesus would
give; things like sharing the gift of salvation, meeting a need
of the heart, reaching lost sheep? And, didn't He say that there
would always be poor among us?
So, if it is Jesus' birth we're celebrating, shouldn't our
gifts be to Jesus or on behalf of Jesus? If such a needed gift
would come i (read full article) |

Can You Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk; Put Your Money Where Your
Mouth Is?
We’ve all heard phrases that challenged us to greatness. But
instead of being challenged, what a difference it could make if
we challenged ourselves ... if, every day, we awoke to hopeful
expectations; searching for another mountain to climb and
obstacle to pass while actually looking forward to the ruff
spots (knowing they’ll only help us grow stronger), to be “all
that we can be” and then to be totally contented there, to be
determined to make a difference and be the difference, to reach
out to our fellow man, and to look forward to every breath of
life God has given.
We’d soon discover that our entire (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Face To Face With God |
| |
|
What would you say to God If you met him face to face? Would you
be eager to see him Or make excuses Desiring to go another place?
Would you have any questions To enter your mind; Like where
would you meet, And what day and what time?
Wouldn't it be a humbling experience To meet God somewhere?
Would you worry about trival things Like, what to say and what
to wear?
Would you thank God For all he's given you? Or make excuses,
knowing That you will reap What you're due?
What words would God speak to you or to me? Would they be words
of Chastisement or praise? Oh, Lord....what would they be?
