 Article Title :: Growing in the Knowledge of God

This first verse completely sets the stage for you to be able to receive knowledge from the Lord. This first verse is literally telling us that God is wanting us to grow in the knowledge of Him and His Son Jesus. "... but GROW in the grace and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18)This verse is only one short sentence long, but a lot is being said in it. After we get saved, God expects us to start growing in the knowledge that He wants to transmit to us. And the only way we can spiritually grow is by seeking after the knowledge that will cause this growth to occur in the first place! This right here is why a lot of Christians d  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Alter your Attitudes

Attitudes are contagious, is yours worth catching? Lot have been said and written about attitudes.....What exactly are attitudes? The dictionary meaning of attitude is: "1. a feeling or opinion about something or someone, or a way of behaving that is caused by this: example :It's often very difficult to change people's attitudes.2 If you say that someone has attitude, you mean that they are confident and independent, often in a rude or unpleasant way. All of us have been following a set of attitudes we learned in our lifetime through our own experiences and those of others. Some of them are positive ....helps us to live our lives to the ful  (read full article)

 Article Title :: HARRY POTTER TO CHRISTIANS: IT'S NOT GOOD TO HEAR VOICES

That is the popular and, thank God (if you'll pardon the use of the G name) the politically correct feeling among most Christians today. You will recall that in the second book of the Potter series, The Chamber Of Secrets, Harry Potter alone heard the voice of the basilisk. When he confided in his two friends about it, one told him that even in the wizarding world, hearing voices is not a good thing. Like art imitating reality, can't we say that even in our non-wizarding world, it's not a good thing to be hearing voices. Whether those voices be God's or someone else's voice. Most of us would agree that hearing voices in your head, voices that aren't there, this is indeed a bad thing.   (read full article)

 Article Title :: Hasten to fast???

Today, is the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting for Muslim brethren all over the world. I have always been amazed by the steadfast observance of fasting, that these brethren undertake especially under the strenuous requirements of abstaining from even drinking water from daybreak to the sighting of the moon at dusk, while going about their normal daily tasks. However, what I would like to discuss does not only concern Muslims, but also others from various faiths, where fasting is a norm (and this accounts for most of the religions, and is seen as a means of purifying oneself). While fasting basically implies abstaining from eating, the spirit of the fast requires abstin  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Have Faith

Are you believing God for something and see no evidence of anything taking place? It can be frustrating. Especially when you feel like you are in great need for God to act NOW!I used to wonder what God was doing when I needed Him most. I certainly didn’t see Him doing what I thought He should be doing. But, you know, we are to live by faith, not by sight. Hebrews 11:1 says, ‘Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”I believe that if we accept the fact that God’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are deeper than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9), we can trust that he has our best interest in mind and he is working all things fo  (read full article)

 Article Title :: HAVE YOU EVER SAW AN ANGEL?

Hebrews 1 verse 14 "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"The following is a testimony of two incidents where I believe God sent an angel to minister unto me:In July 1993, I was driving down the highway during a blazing hot day. There, beside the rode, was an elderly gentleman hitchhiking. He was dressed up in a suit and had a small bag of belongings with him. The Lord spoke, and said, "Pick up this man." At this command, I stopped my old Datsun truck and offered him a ride. He gladly accepted as he pulled out a handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his face. I introduced myself and asked him where he was going.  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Have You Seen Jesus, Today?

And they say ...You act like you think you're God!If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken. John 10:35And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. Mark 1:22Yea, and why should we believe you?For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Isaiah 53:2If you would get things right, God would heal you.Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stri  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Heads I Win, Tails You Lose

In a time when public scrutiny is becoming tighter and more pervasive businesses have learned that they need to be on guard more than ever to ensure they are operating by ethical standards. Though not often mentioned in this discussion, I believe it is especially true of Christian organizations in whom trust is placed by donors. The old adage “heads I win, tails you lose” has a particular bite on this that says ouch. That’s not the way it’s supposed to be.John Dalla Costa, in his book The Ethical Imperative, provides numerous examples of businesses that sought to play by this rule. By cutting ethical corners (playing games of delay and dodge when it came to expenses for healt  (read full article)

 Article Title :: Heaven Bound: Win The Race!

Billy Graham once said, “Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion; it is like a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.”Nothing is out of reach when you put your heart into it. Think about it. Who sets the boundaries and limits in your life? We tend to define ourselves; establish our own boundaries. With God, there are no boundaries, only greatness. It is easy to forget who we are and why we are here. It is easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of the end reward; however we must always remember to where we are going. You were chosen by God, created to fulfill His dreams and purpose. Often times so much focus   (read full article)

 Article Title :: Heaven of Heavens (EN TOIS EPOURANIOIS)

This is not any attempt to show off some knowledge of Greek or to be superior in any way. But the above expression is found only 5 times in the Bible, and all five are found in Ephesians. And since Ephesians opens up a great mystery or secret, we look at every new thing that comes up in order to find light on the hope and calling of today.Four times it is translated, In heavenly places, and once high places. This realm is mentioned in other parts of the Bible, but under different names. Here are a few of them;1. Heaven of heavens. Deuteronomy 10:14.2. Far above all. Ephesians 4:10.3. Holies, Holiest of all. Ephesians 2:19.4. Glory. Colossians 3:4.By using a co  (read full article)
