| Article Title :: Choosing The Right Golf Shoes |
| |
|
I must admit...I have been playing golf for fifteen plus years
and did not realize the importance of golf shoes.
Golf shoes, you might have heard, are a must for most golf
courses. Though this may seem true--just look at the growing
number of golfers who wear custom shoes--many golf courses in
fact do not require special shoes for playing. Of course, every
golfer has been to at least one golf course that specifies the
type of golf shoe worn.
This is for great reason. The entire purpose of these golf shoes
is more than to just make a fashion statement on the golf
course. For golfers, they help keep their feet secure, allowing
them to take advantage of leg power during a swing and

Catfishing tips from a PRO
Last week I attended a seminar on catfishing presented by a
local catfish guide. He guides on the Ohio River for boating BIG
flathead and blue cats.
He has a very nice boat rigged with a 20 gallon fish tank. The
two large outboard motors moves him from place to place quickly.
He mainly covers the mid range of the Markland pool. That means
he finds big catfish close to Cincinnati. He likes the river

| Article Title :: Why I Wear An Authentic Ravens Jersey On Monday Nights |
| |
|
Now I am going to tell you why I wear an authentic Ravens jersey
when it's Monday Night Football.
More than ten years ago the Cleveland Browns moved from
Cleveland to Baltimore and that was probably the best move the
owners could possible have made.
Since the franchise became the Baltimore Ravens, they have won
the trophy that all football players want to win - the
SuperBowl. As a nice bonus they have also been able to sell more
tickets than they ever did before, and the people in Baltimore
love them.
Even me likes them and I am not even from Baltimore.
This usually doesn't happen to me, but I saw them on TV one
night when they were down, but they fought back and turned the
game around (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Skateboarding - One of the most exciting and skilled board
sports |
| |
|
Skateboarding has developed quite a bit in recent years. For
decades when skateboarding was in its infancy, it was seen as an
activity performed by youngsters, mainly rebel kids. In these
earlier years skateboarders were perceived as outcasts who went
around vandalizing other people's property by skating on it. It
is becoming more understood these days but it still has a long
way to go before people will fully understand the skill and
dedication that goes into this sport.
The basics of skateboarding like pushing yourself along the
street are easy to learn but once you get into the tricks and
manoeuvres such as the most basic trick, the ollie, it takes
quite a bit more practice to master. (read full article) |

giving the name to Super Bowl Sunday with festivities reaching
bacchanalian levels. In 2006, Super Bowl Sunday will be on

| Article Title :: What Are Those Golf Ball Dimples All About? |
| |
|
How many times have you... wondered why there are dimples all
over the golf ball?
In this article I will explain to you why golf balls have
dimples. How it controls the flight of the ball and why they are
really important to your golf game.
Did you know that golf balls were originally smooth? That is
right. Smooth as glass. Here is the funny thing though. Golfers
started to notice that the older the golf ball with cuts and
bruises traveled longer distances!
Apparently the nicks and cuts on the golf ball caused the ball
to fly farther down the fairway compared to a brand new ball. So
like all golfers will do, they flocked toward the old balls like
a moth on a heat lamp! I imagine at this (read full article) |

| Article Title :: Golf Swing Aids Aren't Effective If... |
| |
|
Golf swing aids are rampant! Every golfer has dozens of them
gathering dust in their garages or closets. How many wives have
threatened a "clearing out" of these contraptions? If you are
feeling me...keep reading.
Have you purchased golf swing aids only to use them once or
twice and not see improvement? Isn't this an everyday occurrence
for golfers? I see and hear this all the time, and yet golfers
will continue to spend hundreds of dollars by the
'latest/greatest' gimmick.
I don't know if they (golfers) think they will find the "one"
training aid that will change their game forever; or they are
just trying to take the easy way out?
Either way, the main reason most golf swing aids don't (read full article) |

| |
|
As we watch the Astros choke or White Sox perform valiantly
depending on your point of view, I am reminded of my baseball
experience in Russia.
World Series
I always find it interesting that most of our professional
sports call the championship round the World Series or some
similar variation. Clearly, there are games being played
elsewhere, so how can it be the world championship? With
baseball, the arrivals of Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners
and Tadahito Iguchi of the White Sox certainly suggest baseball
in Japan must be of a high quality. Perhaps more interesting is
the fact that some sports aren't even acknowledged in other
countries as I found out in Russia.

|
Race Scanning Tips & Hints
By Scott W. Lowry Editor, Midwest Speedway Scanning Digest
I've been scanning at the race tracks for almost 25 years. Long
before programmable, hand-held scanners, my first scanning set
up consisted of a big old Bearcat 250 mobile scanner duct-taped
to a huge 12 volt lantern battery. The whole setup must have
weighed 10 pounds and I had to lug it around in a big camera
bag! I guarantee I was the only guy in the stands at The
Milwaukee Mile listening to those USAC stock cars go round and
round in 1980! Things have changed a bit since then.
Estimates are that there may be more than 10% of fans at a
typical NASCAR event are "scanner equipped". Race track scannin (read full article) |
