| Article Title :: How to search online for vacation rental property |
| |
|
The internet is a marvelous tool for finding vacation
properties. But the uninitiated may not realize that there are
many types of rental property provider out there, and they don't
all offer equal levels of value and service.
The first type is the general vacation rental website. There
are many of these available, and they are perhaps most suitable
when you haven't decided where you want to go. You can browse
these sites for ideas on where to go and the larger sites may
well have a reasonable choice of homes in certain destinations,
particularly the most popular ones. These homes may be
advertised by the individual owner, or by companies who manage
multiple rental properties.

| Article Title :: Choosing vacation rental property in Whistler |
| |
|
Whistler is perhaps
North America's best ski resort; certainly there is nowhere
close for vertical drop, acreage of groomed runs and variety of
expert terrain. However there is also a tremendous variety of
rental accommodation, and before you make a choice it would be
as well to be educated about the options and their implications.
Whistler properties vary along 3 key dimensions: size,
quality/style and location. We don't need to say much about
size; there are properties on the rental market ranging from
shoeboxes of 350 sq. ft to imposing chalets of 6000 sq. ft. or
more. Quality is another question altogether. Much of the
Whistler rental inventory was built in the 80s and 90s when the

| Article Title :: Tulum, Coba, Cenotes, White Sand & Blue Seas! |
| |
|
I adore the Mayan Riviera as it is sometime called, because of
its simple beauty and wonderful energy, the perfect place for a
spiritual journey! Tulum's white limestone beaches and sapphire
blue Caribbean waters are also perfect for sunbathing, swimming,
and snorkeling.
I would like to share a little of the history of the place, at
least from the point of view of the archeologists. Most people's
experience of this area is often limited to a visit to Cancun,
and although it is a beautiful area, it cannot compare to the
rest of the coast that is largely undeveloped. Especially the
more southern area comprising the Sian Kaan Biosphere which is a
protected reserve.

| Article Title :: Calakmul and Kohunlich |
| |
|
Calakmul is an incredible Mayan site and home to a protected
biosphere reserve in the Southern Yucatan area. It is estimated
that this city reached its peak between 600 and 800 AD. The area
is filled with important ruins and extends not only through the
southern corridor of the Yucatan, but also through Guatemala and
Belize.
There is a magnificent main square in Calakmul, which was a
magical space for ceremony and ritual. It is said that the
square represents the primordial sea and the surrounding
pyramids represent the sacred mountains of the Mayan Gods. The
tallest pyramidal structure towers approximately 55 meters in
height. This is a wonderful area to create your own ritual and

| Article Title :: Bhutan: A Magical Kingdom |
| |
|
Many people have never heard of Bhutan, the country that values
Gross National Happiness over Gross National Product! Bhutan is
a landlocked little country roughly the size of Switzerland. It
is bounded on the north and northwest by Tibet, with India
touching its remaining borders and Nepal a bit to the west.
Virtually the entire country is mountainous, peaking at
24,777ft. North to south it features three geographic regions;
the high Himalaya of the north, the hills and valleys of the
centre, and the foothills and plains of the south.
For centuries Bhutan has remained isolated from the rest of the
world. Since its doors were opened in 1974, visitors have been
mesmerized by the beautiful (read full article) |

| Article Title :: The Pearl of the Orient in a Glance |
| |
|
The Philippines, also known as the pearl of the orient, is an
archipelago located in southeast Asia. It consists of about
7,000 islands; a little more if it's low tide. It's quite hot
all year round, and it seems that the heat only dissipates
sometimes during the monsoon season or "wet season." During this
time a series of typhoons slam the Philippines with strong
rains. Apart from typhoons causing occasional floods, the
Philippines also experiences volcanic eruptions every now and
then; Mt. Pinatubo, Mt. Mayon, and Mt. Taal are some of the more
active Philippine volcanoes in the past century. Filipinos are
some of the friendliest and most fun-loving bunch of people
you'll ever meet. Howeve (read full article) |

| |
|
Parador Hondarribia
The Parador of Hondarribia is near the French border just a
short distance from San Sebastian, and within easy visiting
distance of Bilbao and the wonderful Guggenheim museum. Parador
Hondarribia is a 10th century castle built by the King of
Navarre in the early days of the Christian re-conquest. The
powerful Caliph, Al-Mansur, was a constant threat to the area in
the those times, but King Sancho Abarca and the castle at
Hondarribia were spared because the King had given one of his
daughters in marriage to the Caliph - there have always been
advantages to "keeping it all in the family!"
The castle was remodeled in the 16th century by Emperor Charles
the Fifth. (read full article) |

The Cangas De Onis Parador is situated on a bend in the stunning

| Article Title :: The Oldest and Finest Hotel In The World |
| |
|
The Parador of Santiago De Compostela is one of the world's
finest hotels - and its oldest! This building has been
operating as a hostelery since 1499. In its still-existing
'foundation document' from that same year, it states that the
building was to be dedicated, "as a hostelry for pilgrims and to
house comfortably and suitably all devout people, both sick and
in good health, who come to the city."
It became a place for weary pilgrims to sleep and get medical
attention after their long ordeal of traversing the Camino de
Santiago - "The Way of St. James." For centuries, millions of
the faithful have trekked here from all parts of Europe. The
Parador Santiago De Compostela has all t (read full article) |

| Article Title :: The Parador of Arcos de La Frontera, Spain |
| |
|
Parador of Arcos De La Frontera
Arcos De La Frontera is one of those typical white towns of
Andalucia where you feel as if you have stumbled into another
epoch. Arcos was controlled by the Moors up until 1264 and still
retains the feel of those times.
The Parador Arcos De La Frontera stands high above the RÃo
Guadalete with nearly a shear drop-off on one side. This
dramatic location is reminiscent of Ronda, but Arcos is much
less touristed than that city and the ambience far more relaxed.
Parador Arcos De La Frontera is flanked by castle walls and the
large Gothic-Mudéjar church of Santa MarÃa de la Asunción. From
here you get incredible views to the river valley far below. (read full article) |
