Article Title :: How To Write

| LEARNING HOW TO WRITECopyright 2004, Michael LaRoccaAs a student of Spanish, my goal was to think in Spanish. Skipthe word-by-word translation so I'd have the necessary speed tospeak and listen. | Article Title :: How To Break Into Print Publishing |

The big question. Do you submit directly to the publishers, or do you find an agent who will do that for you? Based on anecdotal evidence I've heard, it can work either way. The bottom line is, if a publisher reads what he can sell, he'll buy it. It doesn't matter if it comes from an author or an agent. The trick is getting him to read it. That's always your focus. Some people swear by agents because they're the ones who will get you larger percentages and advances. I've decided I don't care quite so much about that. In the case of a new author, I sincerely doubt that'll happen anyway. I'd hate to lose my first sale because some greedy agent asked for too much money. Not that I b (read full article)

Article Title :: How to cash in on the huge online demand for writers

| Currently many online writers and would-be online writers, feel very much like folks in a ship that is out at sea somewhere but which has run out of drinking water. The fact is that although there is so much water everywhere, getting drinking water becomes a challenge because the water is salty and probably needs some sort of purification and processing to be made drinkable. That is exactly what led the writer to pen those famous words, water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink. The growth of the net has been phenomenal. | Article Title :: How to Catch the Writing Bug |

If you earn income as a writer, or use writing as a marketing tool, you know how difficult it can be at times to write. I started writing for my website and newsletter a few years ago. What happened to cause this change? I caught the writing bug. The writing bug is contagious, and by reading this article, you too will (read full article)
