Kunstform Stock Session 2017 - Photos & Results

On the 2nd of december 2017, our stock session took place again and it was absolutely amazing to met all the homies again. We had also run a BMX Flatland contest in our Stock room during the others went for a skatepark session to the Pragfriedhof, where you had the chance to win some vouchers for tricks. After the pre-session, the main contest started, in which different groups had the chance to show their skills on the different obstacles we had built up. Even though the ceiling was kissed many times, it was a great end to 2017. You'll find all photos and results on freedombmx. Thanks to everyone for coming down and for the amazing time! Yo André, where do you come from and how long have you been riding?

I come from the beautiful Sonthofen in the Allgäu, but I'm living for 3,5 years in Stuttgart now. I've been riding BMX for about 6-7 years.

What is your favorite BMX video?

Difficult task from the abundance of great BMX videos to choose a favorite, but the Above Below Part by Nathan Williams (filmed by Rich Forne) I've probably watched most.

What bike setup do you have and what can you tell about it?

Most of the parts on my bike are Éclat products. Only frame and handlebars come from Wethepeople. The frame is - since I`m not the largest - with the small top tube (20.75 ") quite perfect for me. In addition, I`ve made sure that the Chain Stay is slightly shorter. Tailwhips are a bit easier. There is not much more to report. Except maybe my light Chicago handlebars (but still limited). Oh yes: I am very satisfied :)

Yo Mika, where do you come from and how long have you been riding?

Hey, I'm from Lauffen am Neckar, GER and I've been riding BMX for 4years now.

What is your favorite BMX video?

Many, but I prefer the Sunday grow up and the BSD Transmission DVD most!

What bike setup do you have and what can you tell about it?

So basically a bike for me has to be street-ready, black, clean and in 18 inches. I would prefer, if the whole setup would be built out of only 2-3 brands but it's a bit hard to find the perfect parts for a 18inch bike. This is why my bmx is equipped with about 15 different brands. Each part is carefully selected and fits like the fist on the eye. I'm particularly proud of the handlebars and cranks, which were the first custom parts of my first bmx, which was a stereo halfstack 18 ". Soon the cranks will be replaced and hung on the wall!

I'm from "Roßbach an der Wied" and I'm riding since 12-years my kids bike.

What is your favorite BMX video?

This is quite clear Nathan Williams Etnies Chapters Part. The guy is crazy!

What bike setup do you have and what can you tell about it?

I've been driving my Wethepeople Pathfinder Signature frame for a couple of months with my Pathfinder 4pc Bar and all sorts of other Wethepeople parts. I am incredibly happy with my parts since the guys from Wethepeople really have everything built as I had it in my head. My bike feels exactly the way I always wanted it. The steeper control tube, high standover, stabilized chain struts and bottom bracket, you can also ride different chain strut lengths - everything as I've imagined.

BMX Jam + best trick & best line Contest in Jena (Germany)

On 23 September, a BMX Jam with Best Trick + Best Line Contest will take place in Jena. The Jam / Contest takes place in the Skatepark Jena Paradies. Registration from 1 pm and start approx. 3 pm. The whole is supported by the Crossroads Jena e.V., which also provide for grill pies, drinks, music and afterwards for an open air cinema.

Brügglesjam Schweinfurt 2017

Like the last couple years, the "Brüggeljam" BMX & MTB contest in Schweinfurt, germany will take place again. The whole is organized by the guys of the Bike Unit e.V. and the municipal youth work of the city of Schweinfurt.

The date is the 23th of september at 14:00 clock. The park is open all day and the registration for the contest starts at 13:00 clock The start fee is 5€. There are two BMX groups and one MTB group. afterwards a Bunnyhop or Best Trick Contest will take place.

You can win prize money and prizes!

As usual, the guys from the Brüggeljam provide you with suitable music and cool drinks.

In Hard am Bodensee, almost directly on the German-Austrian border, one of the largest and best bowls of Europe is located. This is the location of the Ride Further Tour 2017 from the 2nd - 3rd September with a big stint in the fifth round.

From England have already announced Kriss Kyle, Bas Keep, Matt Priest, Chaz Mailey and Lima Eltham, but that's not all. A total of 16 international pros will go to Hard in the start and then there would be the winners of the four wildcards. Chris Halbritter and Mätti Hilber have already qualified at the BMX Männle Turnier in Tuttlingen, two other wildcards can be won on the 2nd September at the Pre-Quali directly on site. But be careful: the number of participants is limited, so register quickly (register@wayfurther.com)

On 09.09.2017 again the "Höhenflüge" BMX Contest takes place in Hohenfichte. Huge Airs and street-combos, as you see them on Instagram and Co, you can see here live on 09.09.2017. And all this under the motto: higher, farther, more stylish. In addition to a few special prizes, the best riders of the day have the chance to win 1500€ prize money, so.... off to Hohenfichte! The mood is still heated with the right music. In addition BBQ and beverages of various kinds, in order not to leave the physical well-being outside. I come from Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, which is located on the beautiful Lake "Bodensee". But timewise you can find me also in Stuttgart :)I've been riding BMX for a while (in the year 2004 I got my first 20 "complete bike, which I was still much too difficult ...) Long Live the 12th ", 16" and 18 "BMX, which are available today - And a pity that there wasn't such a thing when I started riding!

From the 25th to 26th of August 2017, the Ride n Roll Open Air Festival will take place, with two days of live music, as well as various competitions and workshops for BMX, skate, slackline, fitness and freerunning fans.

BMX Männle Turnier 2017 - BMX Highlights

From the 12th to the 13th of August 2017, the 9th BMX Männle Turnier took place at the Skatepark in Tuttlingen, Germany. As every year, many spectators and BMX riders appeared to the "Männle Turnier", where there wasn't only a BMX contest for boys and girls, there was also a "best trick", and a "jump the carton" contest. Moritz Kuhn isn't just only 10 years old, he's now a real part of the kunstform BMX Shop Teams for the current team season 2017/18. Moritz takes part in every contest in the region with his 18inch BMX and mostly with success, as for example the "BMX Männle Turnier" in 2017, that recently went on stage, where Moritz got the first place in the amateur class. On the 26th of August, the "100PSI" Contest will take place again at the Skatepark Lingnerallee in Dresden. After the Contest there will be an afterparty at Club "OSTPOL".

With hard-pumped tires we welcome BMX-Riders from all over Germany and Europe in Dresden on August 26th. 2016. Our slogan “ „BMX Flatland Contest on Asphalt“ will celebrate the sport for the sixth time that developed more than 30 years ago on parking lots in California.

Like in the years before, the riders can expect a clean and bumpless 400m² black asphalt floor to perform their tricks. All in front of Dresdens town hall in the center of the city.

The Competition is held in two classes, amateur and pro. We will start with the Amateur Practice at 1 O'clock in the afternoon. The winners of the pro class will be awarded with 600€ price money. Amateurs get a hole bunch of parts and goodys from our sponsors to motivate them to perform their tricks. In the evening the price ceremony is held in Dresdens hippest borough Neustadt at the club Ostpol. So heat your tires and practice your skills – see you in Double D-Town!
