It was produced by Skeleton Sea, a group of surfers who have created a green art project that promotes clean oceans, respect for nature and human rights. The artists use the flotsam washed up on beaches to create their art. In February 2012, Skeleton Sea held an art workshop in Sanya, China in association with the Volvo Ocean Race during its stop-over. The group presented its work, "Presents of the Sea" to the Serenity Marina Sailing School where it will remain on permanent exhibition.
