How To Ask For Backlinks

In my last post I showed some of the ways that will get your link request shot down. For this post I’m going to show you how you can get those backlinks using some simple link building strategies to get backlinks and increase traffic to your website. Google Page Rank Before you start looking to get backlinks to your site what’s your page rank? A lot of sites owners don’t want links from sites that don’t have page rank. They want links from sites that will in time help boost their own traffic and a site with low or no page rank isn’t appealing compared to a site with a rank of 5 for example. Google also judges a site based on the number of high ranking pages that link back to that site, more high ranking pages equals more popular. To boost your page rank concentrate building links from link directories such as Digg, Reddit, and Stumbleupon. There are dozens of these sites and most have page ranks of 6 and up. Also add content to your site on a regular basis and remember to ping your site whenever you add new content to alert the search engines of changes to get indexed faster..............

How To Pick The Right Backpack For Your Bug Out Bag

So you’ve decided to make a bug out bag, you’ve picked all the items you know will be the most effective. But what about the bug out bag itself? Selecting the right pack is just as important as what you put inside it, after all this will probably be on your back for a good length of time. The last thing you want is a bag that either isn’t strong enough to hold the weight of your equipment, and doesn’t fit you properly causing pain and discomfort. Here are some things to look for when selecting the proper bug out bag for your emergency supplies. The first thing you want to do before you buy anything is know what your budget is. Check online and store flyers to see what brands they have for sale and compare prices. Other sources to investigate are websites such as Ebay, Craigslist, or Kijiji, to see if there’s some second hand bags that are in good shape. Also check with places like Amazon.com and U.S Calvary (U.S Calvary deals with military and police clothing and equipment) And of course look for local military surplus stores. Now you want to decide what type of bug out bag you want to use. All bags can be broken down into three categories.

How To Keep Your Adsense Account From Being Banned

If you have an Adsense account you’ve probably heard some of the horror stories about people having their Adsense account banned, their earnings held by Google, and being basically left out in the cold with no revenue coming into their site. And while it can happen without warning (Google is notorious for making policy changes and not notifying anyone or always offering a clear explanation) most of the time it’s the fault of the owner of the site. This is either because they didn’t take the time to terms of service and had their Adsense account banned. Or they got caught trying to cheat the system and as a result have a banned Adsense account.

Minecraft "Minecrack" Review

Minecraft or as I prefer to call it “Minecrack” is a game that was recently recommend to my by a friend. At first glance the game looks like a throwback to the original Atari or Nintendo game systems (think Mario Bros type graphics minus having to jump on walking mushrooms) The game essentially has the look of a giant Lego world consisting entirely of blocks, the animals, trees, even the water are all blocks. There’s also no set point system or objective you have to reach in order to beat the game. But despite this the game is exceptionally addictive. I personally found it very easy to spend a few hours on it before I realized how much time had gone by.

Tearjerker of the Day: Faithful Service Dog Walks in Deceased Owner's Place During Graduation

Josh Kelly suffered from epilepsy, a brain disorder that forced him to drop out of high school nine days before graduation. For nearly a decade, Kelly attended Idaho State University working toward a degree in geology, with his service dog, a black pit bull named Cletus, by his side. The pair would dutifully walk two miles both ways to catch the bus to campus.

Unfortunately, Kelly passed away in February just two classes shy of his degree. Nonetheless, ISU granted him a posthumous degree on May 10. In the young man's place, Kelly's tearful father, Terrell, walked across the stage with Cletus by his side and accepted the diploma.

Race, Gender, and LGBTQ+ wage gaps are real – and they end up costing us all

White males make up the largest sector of the U.S. workforce and have, on average, always made the highest salaries. If we compare their salaries to those of women, ethnic minorities, the differently-abled, and LGBTQ+ persons, we see a large disparity between the wages of similarly-qualified candidates in the same fields. The gap is glaring, […]

Поднимите руку те, кто люто ненавидит принудительное ранжирование постов в френд-ленте Фейсбука! И не понимает, по какому принципу он работает. Counteracting the “Sameness” of Frugal Living

One complaint people often make when they settle into a more frugal lifestyle is that their life begins to take on a feeling of “sameness,” in that each day feels more similar to the others than it did before they made frugal changes to their life. (This same shock is being felt by people under stay at home orders, too, for similar reasons.) I’ll give you a great example of this. Many people settle into a routine of eating out […]

How to test length contraction by experiment?

Relativistic length contraction is theoretically predicted but not directly tested, which lead to incorrect interpretation of the theory illustrated by Bell’s spaceship paradox and Ehrenfest paradox. But these paradoxes can help us designing experiments to test length contraction. Ideal direct experimental proof should contain the following steps: 1. Measure the tested object’s length at rest,...
