Website design can be elusive to even creative individuals. Sadly some webmasters do not realize their incompetence and they post websites that have grainy graphics and turgid colors. Businesses can greatly benefit from a professional and unforgettable logo that sets them apart from their competition. Logos are not just fancy graphics that adorn websites or letterhead, logos are a representation of a businesses' philosophy. Logos are a critical component of brand development.

Many webmasters do not realize that all images on the web are copy written and it is in many cases illegal to use an image that you find on the web without properly licensing it. Fortunately, for the graphically challenged websmasters there are a whole host of resources available to assist with web and graphic design. There are logo websites where you can purchase a single logo for a fixed fee, or subscription websites that allow you to purchase a subscription and download multiple logos. The logo is often the starting point for web design. Many webmasters use the companies logo to develop the website, the rest of the design evolves around the logo.

Copyright is a type of intellectual property. A copyright is a set of exclusive rights granted by the government for a limited time to protect the particular form, way or manner in which an idea or information is expressed. Copyright is the legal protection given to artists or producers of creative work which protects them against unauthorized copying of their work.

All copyrighted material must be produced in a tangible medium (photo, paper, CD, or video). Concepts, processes and ideas can not be copy protected in the United States. If a statement is made yet not recorded or published it is not protected under the US copyright laws. In other words things must be recorded in a physical form in order to be protected under the copyright laws in the United States.

You think that you have mastered the art of RSS, but how much do you really know? Take the RSS quiz to test your knowledge of RSS.

Question: If something is in an RSS feed, it is perfectly fine to reproduce the contents of the feed. I mean after all RSS means really simple syndication, right?

Answer: No, that is not true. Regardless of whether content is in a feed or not, the original creator of the content has the right to restrict its use. While most people do feel that if content is in an RSS feed, it is available for syndication--that is not always the case. Various groups have made efforts to add namespaces which expand the tags used in RSS, to define whether the content is available for syndication. The two most notable namespaces that detail permissions are the Creative Commons extension and the Bloglines' Access extension. These two extensions are not yet widely supported so it is always best to check the terms of service associated with the feed or website to determine if the feed is available for syndication.

Recording Quality

The quality of the recording is probably the most critical component of a podcast. A good podcast is easy to understand, and should be recorded at a volume level that makes it easy for listeners to hear all that is said.
Sound Balance

Adding background music polishes a podcast, but be careful that the music does not overpower the primary content. The background music should be subtle and not distracting. Create a balance that does not compromise the quality of the recording. Also, be sure that the music is not the focal point of a podcast show, unless the topic is about the music -- the emphasis should be on the primary content, and not on the musical arrangements.

You have an RSS feed and you have worked hard to get the word out. According to your logs you have subscribers! Now the hard part: how to retain the subscribers to your RSS feed. Follow these simple steps to insure that your subscriber base will grow.

1. Original Content
A consistent stream of original content will do well to earn subscribers loyalty. The best RSS feeds provide content that is compelling and unique. Do not rehash existing content, look for a unique angle or spin if you wish to cover something that is hot in the blogosphere.

2. Quality Over Frequency
A posts quality is far more important than a post's frequency. Readers will tire of rambling or nonsensical posts that contain no real value. Time is precious and there are plenty of feeds and blogs, in order to retain readers provide quality not quantity.

We can't thank you enough for the amazing week we've had. The Jungle Dome looked great on the website, but it is only when you arrive that you realize what a special place it is. It's rare to find a place in such a beautiful setting with so many places to see and activities to do in such a close distance.

We enjoyed every second; from the horseback ride through the jungle, boat ride down the river, the Black Hole Drop, cave tubing, etc. Also, we are so glad that we spotted a comment in the comment book about David's night time jungle walk- it was brilliant. The overnight stay in the cave was loads of fun too.

Most of all, thank you to Andy, Simone, David, Mynor & the rest of the staff here for making us feel so welcome, comfortable & part of the Jungle Dome family during our stay. Every aspect was amazing and - like I said at the start- we can't thank you enough. You have a special place & we will spread the word in England for you.

 It is sad to leave, but nice to go knowing that we have made so many new friends!

Wow! What an amazing week! Jungle Dome far exceeded all of our expectations and the bar high for the rest of our trip. The staff here are amazing and truly made the experience for us. It felt like we were among friends, not resort staff, all week.

The food was incredible, the lodge is beautiful, and the experiences in the jungle were life changing and unforgettable! We will definitely be recommending this place with raving reviews to our friends and family, and hope to make it back here in the future!

Andy, Simone, David, Nora, Wanni, Lucas, Aidan, and the rest of the staff; What an amazing 4 days! Everything was so much fun, and the guides were so well-informed, it is hard to pick a favorite.
The first day we went to the Xunantunich Mayan site; quite interesting, with Junior as our guide;

Then on to the Iguana Park.

Next day was to Cave’s Branch tubing, as we floated through limestone cave, and then down a gentle river with Fernando.

The next day to Caracol Mayan ruins, Rio Frio Cave, and Rio on waterfalls and swimming area with Bruce.

Every day was new and exciting, and our room was always clean when we got back, besides an excellent breakfast and dinner every day. Your staff is what made it so special.

On day one at the airport we met David, and he drove us every day and become a good friend to us. He was great company and an amazing young man.

Best of luck to you all! Hope to see you again. This trip was for a 50th anniversary and Simone (as busy as she is) even remembered, and made us a card. What a group!

Dear Jungle Dome team,

Many thanks for an amazing introduction to Belize over the past 5 days, from the pick-up at the airport and trip to the zoo, and throughout the action-packed few days, I’ve had a great time experiencing a variety of activities, including my first ever horse ride and the beautiful ATM caves.

At the end of each adventure, it has been wonderful to have that feeling of coming ‘home’ to the Jungle Dome, and being made to feel part of the family, with lovely home-cooked meals, a comfy, homely room, and great conversations.

Thanks for the tips and advice, I am sure I will use in San Pedro in the coming days. You have a lovely place, and I will definitely  recommend it to anyone coming out here.

Belize Jungle Dome is AWESOME! David, our caretaker, has been amazing! He is full of knowledge about the sights we’ve asked him about. He is so interesting to talk to.

The meals have been very convenient, especially since we were over Easter weekend, when most restaurants have been closed. The pool is a refreshing break when we get back from our tours.

Make sure you do the cave tubing/zip-lining. St. Herman’s cave and the Blue Hole is an interesting side trip. Tomorrow we head to Mountain Pine Ridge and the, sadly, we have to leave the Jungle Dome, and head to San Ignacio.

We’ll always remember our stay here, and how welcome David made us feel.  I plan on writing a fantastic TripAdvisor review!
