Particular embodiments of the present invention include a multi-stage tire tread having a plurality of wear layers, each said layer being located at a different depth of the tire tread, the tread including one or more tread elements including a contact surface and having a first wear layer and a second wear layer, wherein the second wear layer is located below the first wear layer. The tire tread also includes a longitudinal groove extending in a longitudinal direction within the second wear layer of the tread element, wherein said longitudinal groove becomes exposed after a depth of the first wear layer has been worn. The tire tread further includes one or more lateral grooves extending from the longitudinal groove in a lateral direction within the second wear layer of the tread element. The invention also provides a mold element for forming portions of the multi-stage tread.

A tire having a tread includes an outer tread layer and an inner tread layer. The inner tread layer includes one of a first elastomeric compound and a second elastomeric compound. The outer tread layer includes the other of the first and second elastomeric compounds. The second elastomeric compound has a lower rolling resistance and greater resistance to treadwear than the first elastomeric compound. The inner tread layer increases in thickness across at least a widthwise portion of the outer tread layer with a maximum thickness of one of the inner tread layer and the outer tread layer occurring near at least one of a first shoulder and a second shoulder of the tread. As the tread wears, the inner tread layer defines a greater proportion of a running surface of the tread.

The present invention provides a rubber composition that improves in terms of the fuel economy of a rubber composition containing an isoprene-based rubber and also offers favorable durability and favorable processability or adhesion to steel cords, and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a bead apex, sidewall packing, base tread, or breaker cushion, including: a specific rubber component; a specific amount of a specific carbon black; a specific amount of sulfur; and a specific amount of a compound represented by formula (I) below. The present invention also relates to a rubber composition for a steel cord topping, strip adjacent to steel cords, or tie gum, including: a specific rubber component; a specific amount of a specific carbon black; a specific amount of an organic acid cobalt salt; and a specific amount of a compound represented by the formula (I).

A mounted assembly of a wheel and a tire. The tire inflation pressure is greater than 9 bar, and a relative deflection of the tire greater than 30%. The rim comprises a drop-center functionality and is of monobloc type. A carcass reinforcement includes a circumferential alignment of carcass reinforcement elements anchored in the beads by a stack of circumferentially oriented reinforcement elements, and by an anchoring rubber mix having an elasticity modulus of less than 30 MPa at 10% deformation.

An intermediate article of manufacture formed as a first stage bead area subassembly for a split ply pneumatic tire carcass is disclosed. The bead area subassembly has an annular bead core; a bead apex; a ply strip; and preferably a sidewall affixed to the ply strip. The subassembly is formed into a disk-shaped bead area monocomponent. The ply strip is wrapped about the bead core and the apex to form a ply turnup and both the ply strip and the ply turnup extend radially outwardly from the bead core. The bead area subassembly when formed into the disk-shaped bead area monocomponent is placed on an annular holder device. The combination of the bead area monocomponent on the holder device can be stacked for storage and latter assembly into a split ply carcass. Preferably, the ply turnup can be oriented extending inside or axially inward of the bead core on final assembly to form a split ply tire having axially inside turnups. In the preferred embodiment the ply strip is reinforced by radially extending ply cords.

In the invention, at least a tire outer circumferential side portion of a tread portion is formed of a non-conductive rubber layer. The non-conductive rubber layer is formed by winding and laminating a non-conductive rubber ribbon along a tire circumferential direction. A conductive layer is provided on an outer circumference of the non-conductive rubber ribbon, and the conductive layer continuously and spirally extends along the tire circumferential direction, and is exposed on a tread surface from a bottom surface of the non-conductive rubber layer toward a tire outer circumferential side. Accordingly, an electricity generated in a vehicle body is discharged to a road through the conductive layer. Since the conductive layer is scattered within the non-conductive rubber layer and exposure on the tread surface is preferably secured, it is possible to achieve an excellent conductivity.

The present invention provides an adhesive composition that may improve both adhesiveness to a film layer and adhesiveness to a rubber layer, and an adhesion method using the same, as well as a laminate and a tire. The adhesive composition according to the present invention includes a rubber component, at least 80 mass % of which rubber component is an epoxidized natural rubber.

A tire 1 comprises rib-shaped land portions 20 extending in a tire circumferential direction TC and has a circumferential groove 30 adjacent to the land portions 20 and extending in the tire circumferential direction TC. Tread contact surfaces 10 of the land portions 20 form smooth surfaces with no gap when a normal load is applied and the tread contact surfaces are in contact with a road surface. The circumferential groove 30 includes a shallow groove portion 40 extending in the tread-width direction TW, and a deep groove portion 50 adjacent to the shallow groove portion 40 in the tire circumferential direction and extending in the tread-width direction. A deep groove portion 50 is recessed more inwardly in a tire radial direction TR than the shallow groove portion 40 with a groove bottom 40c of the shallow groove portion 40 being an upper end of the deep groove portion 50.

This invention relates to a rubber composition including a polyisoprene rubber having a very high cis-1,4-bond content and having an excellent balance between dynamic properties and processability, and more particularly to a rubber composition comprising as a rubber component (A) a synthetic polyisoprene rubber having a cis-1,4-bond content of not less than 99.0%, a 3,4-bond content of not more than 0.5% and a Mooney viscosity ML1+4 (100° C.) of 20-110 and (B) a natural rubber.

A rubber-steel hybrid cord of the present invention is characteristically formed by twisting a plurality of sheath filaments or sheath strands around a core in which a periphery of and space surrounded by one or a plurality of core filaments or a core strand are coated or filled with a filler rubber (A) containing an adhesion promoter, thereby forming a multilayer-twist steel cord or a multi-twist steel cord, and coating an outer surface of the multilayer-twist steel cord or the multi-twist steel cord with a coating rubber (C). Further, an amount of an adhesion promoter contained in the coating rubber (C) is equal to or more than an amount of the adhesion promoter contained in the filler rubber (A).

A method of updating data may include receiving an update request from a computing device, the update request including a profile of a current set of data stored on the computing device; determining, based at least in part on the profile of the current set of data, an updated set of data is available; determining if a delta set of data has previously been generated to transform the current set of data to the updated set of data; and based on determining that the delta set of data has not been previously generated: generating the delta set of data; and transmitting an address, to the computing device, for obtaining the delta set of data by the computing device.

In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for creating, exporting, viewing and testing, and importing custom applications in a multitenant database environment. These mechanisms and methods can enable embodiments to provide a vehicle for sharing applications across organizational boundaries. The ability to share applications across organizational boundaries can enable tenants in a multi-tenant database system, for example, to easily and efficiently import and export, and thus share, applications with other tenants in the multi-tenant environment.

The system provides a method and apparatus for the dynamic distribution, deployment, and configuration of optimizable code modules for use with software workflows running on a single compute device or across a network connected grid of compute devices. The system comprises one or more collections of software and data modules stored in a content catalog, conforming to a defined interface, and having metadata conforming to a schema that enables the modules to be statically or dynamically optimized by the controlling workflow and a workflow manager. The system provides a service that enables code modules to be located, deployed, configured, and updated by the controlling workflow, the workflow manager, or a remote manager.

The described technology is directed towards maintaining and using a version-based hierarchy of software resources (e.g., file system files) to return version-specific responses to clients. A client sends its version information with each data request, and gets back a response based upon that version. Version changes are made by maintaining the current version of each software code resource and overriding the current version with a previous version for clients as needed. The technology allows updates (e.g., for new devices and new software resource versions) to be supported by inserting resources into the resource hierarchy and moving resources therein based upon versioning. A system based on deltas is also contemplated, in which only parts of a file may be changed relative to a different version, instead of overriding the entire file.

A system and method is provided for reconstructing one or more collections of objects across platforms. More particularly, Java Annotations are used to assist a Web Services Description Language (WSDL) wizard in reconstructing a collection of objects. In implementation, the system and method parses the object types such that a wizard can recreate or reconstruct the collection of objects for use by a receiving service. The method includes reconstructing a collection using one or more annotations that document a base object of the collection.

A method includes receiving an updated application instance, a database instance, or any combination thereof, provisioning a first subset of application servers with the updated application instance or access to the updated database instance, and identifying a subset of users from a plurality of users to provide access to the updated instance for testing purposes. System and method for validating software development requirements are disclosed. The method comprises accessing a software development requirement, extracting a plurality of tokens from the software development requirement, tagging each of the plurality of tokens to a corresponding part of speech, and deriving a pattern based on the plurality of tokens and the plurality of corresponding parts of speech. The method further comprises determining at least one of a context and a business domain of the software development requirement and identifying pre-defined rules for the plurality of tokens and pre-defined patterns for the pattern. In response to a positive identification, the software development requirement are validated by analyzing the plurality of tokens against the pre-defined rules and by analyzing the pattern against the pre-defined patterns. In response to a negative identification, a learning process is initiated based on intelligence gathered from a manual validation of the software development requirement.

System and method for dynamically composing an integrated open source stack are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises generating a stack specification. The method further comprises extracting a list of products from an open source product repository based on the stack specification and determining a product strength value for each product present in the list of product. The method further comprises generating one or more stack options comprising at least one of the products based on the product strength value and determining a stack strength value for each of the one or more stack options based on the product strength value and the user requirements. The method further comprises selecting a stack from the one or more stack options as the integrated open source stack and composing the integrated open source stack based on at least one of product metadata, adaptor metadata, or product scripts.

Embodiments of the present application provide an application program uninstallation method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving an uninstallation instruction for a target application program (S101); deleting a specific directory in a local device to which the target application program corresponds, according to the received uninstallation instruction (S102); extracting an identifier of the target application program (S103); searching a local pre-set directory residual database to determine whether there exist any directory data that correspond to the identifier (S104), the directory data comprising at least a directory path; if such directory data exist, deleting a directory in the local device to which the directory path found corresponds, according to the search result (S105). By applying the embodiments of the present application, when the specific directory corresponding to the uninstalled application program is deleted, other directories, other than the specific directory, to which the uninstalled application program corresponds are also deleted, so that after the uninstall of the application program is completed, file residue is avoided, and the occupation of the device storage space is reduced.

An update system for the Linux operating system and a method thereof are disclosed. In the system and method, an update program can be obtained via distributed clients, to reduce a server's loading. When updating the operating system, allocation data on a user data sector is backed up and restored, so as to complete the update for the operating system. With the present technical features, the technical effect of backing up and restoring the allocation data on the user data sector, and reducing the loading of the server can be achieved.

A computer-implemented method includes receiving a restore command to restore a vehicle computing system (VCS) system state. The method further includes restoring a base system state to a known, functional state and obtaining a list of applications previously installed on the VCS. The method also includes for each application previously installed on the VCS, finding a version of the application compatible with the restored base system state. The method includes displaying a first graphic user interface (GUI) for character input on a flexible display and detecting a change in a bending state of the flexible display. Changing the first GUI to a second GUI based on the detected change of the bending state of the flexible display, and then displaying the second GUI. In some embodiments, the method may include determining a moved area among the first area and the second area and displaying the second GUI based on the determined moved area and the angle between the first area and the second area. Systems and methods for enabling co-browsing are provided herein. A device, such as a web server, may execute a browser application that initiates co-browsing capabilities between a host computing device and one or more guest computing devices. Activatable code is injected and/or otherwise embedded in one or more web pages. Subsequently, using the activatable code, web browser information on the host computing device is obtained and processed for display on the one or more guest computing devices.

A user terminal apparatus is disclosed. The user terminal apparatus includes a touch screen which senses a multi gesture that is performed by using at least two fingers or other input tools, and a controller which provides an individual volume control mode by which a volume of one speaker apparatus is independently controllable with respect to a volume of the remainder of a plurality of speaker apparatuses, and which is convertible into a group volume control mode in order to combine a plurality of speaker apparatuses into a group such that volumes of the plurality of speaker apparatuses can be jointly controlled in response to the multi gesture sensed via the touch screen while the individual volume control mode is provided.

An output device or controller supporting voice activated commands by using a portable electronic device is herein disclosed and enabled. The output device may be a television, a controller connectable to a television, a printer, a sound output device, or a projector. The portable electronic device for wirelessly managing or driving the output device may include a microphone to receive voice activated commands. The output device includes wireless circuitry to establish a direct wireless connection (e.g., Bluetooth, etc.) with the portable electronic device, and subsequently, the output device, using the established direct wireless connection, is operable to: wirelessly receive first information from the portable electronic device; wirelessly send to the portable electronic device second information in response to receiving the first information; and wirelessly receive from the portable electronic device data related to voice activated commands from a user.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of multimedia technologies and disclose methods for generating and controlling a composite user interface control and an electronic device. The method for generating a composite user interface control includes the following steps: creating at least one composite control, where the composite control includes at least two subcontrols; adding each subcontrol to the composite control; respectively setting a general attribute and a unique attribute of each subcontrol; acquiring a resource of each subcontrol and transmitting the resource to a corresponding subcontrol; and adding an event response mechanism to the composite control. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the method for generating a composite user interface control may enable a manner for generating a user interface control to be relatively simple, which facilitates control over and modification on all user interface controls or a single user interface control on a user interface.

Asymmetrical formatting of word spaces according to the uncertainty between words includes an initial filtering process and subsequent text formatting process. An equivocation filter generates a mapping of keys and values (output) from a corpus or word sequence frequency data (input). Text formatting process for asymmetrically adjusts the width of spaces adjacent to keys using the values. The filtering process, which generates a mapping of keys and values can be performed once to analyze a corpus and once generated, the key-value mapping can be used multiple times by a subsequent text processing process.

Embodiments of this disclosure relate to the field of multimedia technologies, and disclose a user interface control layout method and an electronic devices. The user interface control layout method includes the following steps: creating a relative layout container, where the relative layout container is used to contain child controls, and the child controls are a relative layout container or a normal control; specifying an attribute of a child control for the relative layout container; generating the child control; and if the child control is a relative layout container, repeating the foregoing steps, until all the child controls in the relative layout container are normal controls. In some embodiments of this disclosure, multiple UI controls of different sizes or types may be generated one by one through layout and arrangement, and the UI controls of different sizes or types may be nested with each other, and thereby UI interfaces based on different rules can be quickly implemented to meet different requirements of various products for UI control arrangement.

To improve efficiency of UI production, a UI producing apparatus includes: a UI producing unit configured to allow a user to design UI screens which correspond to contents, respectively; a multi-preview executing unit configured to generate contexts for controlling the UI screens, respectively, and configured to simultaneously display previews corresponding to the UI screens, respectively, based on the contexts; a coordination unit configured to, responding to an event generated on at least one of the UI screens, provide a message, which includes information about the event, to one of the contexts corresponding to another one of the UI screens, in order to cause the UI screens to coordinate with each other; and a screen generating unit configured to modify the one of the contexts, based on the message, so as to generate the UI screens.

A method and system are provided for processing a document comprising a plurality of content portions. An editing copy of the document is generated. The editing copy includes embedded code identifying at least one task corresponding to at least one content portion of the document, the code defining at least one user interface element for presentation proximate to the at least one content portion and within the editing copy when the editing copy is rendered and presented. The editing copy is sent to a user system for rendering and presentation at the user system. When a user interface element for a task is activated at the user system, a request is sent to the system to execute the identified task; the task is executed and a result sent to the user system for presentation.

Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention allow users to efficiently manipulate, analyze, and transmit eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) reports. They allow users to automatically build financial reports that are acceptable to governing agencies such as the IRS. In one embodiment, the reports are developed by a parser that transforms text documents into software elements containing a format with a hierarchal relationship between the software elements, and an editor that develops reports by referencing the software elements transformed from the text documents. Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention also enable reports to be automatically scheduled by gathering desired information from an accounting system, formatting the information into an XBRL document, and transmitting it to an end source. Furthermore, systems and methods in accordance with the present invention allow a user to translate an XBRL document into RDL format and use the RDL system to manipulate and analyze it.

The present application provides a method and a device for extending a layout template of a component. The method includes determining an inheritance relationship between a component to be extended and an existing component, generating extension information of the component to be extended according to the inheritance relationship, where the extension information includes identification (ID) information of the existing component, the inheritance relationship, and content to be extended. The method further includes acquiring a layout template object of the existing component according to the ID information of the existing component, where the layout template object is configured with at least one element item of the corresponding component, and updating the element item in the layout template object according to the inheritance relationship and the content to be extended to obtain a layout template object. A layout template is extended using an inheritance relationship between objects to simplify the management of the layout templates and the complexity of maintenance and updates.
