No patient was discharged on Thursday and the number of cured people stood at 109, leaving 93 active cases in the district, the officials said.

Coronavirus Cases Latest Updates: Testing capacity for COVID-19 has been scaled up to 95,000 per day and total 15,25,631 tests have been conducted so far, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said.

Hamirpur had become coronavirus-free on April 29 after the last two patients in the district tested negative for the infection.

Sixteen new asymptomatic cases were reported in the Hubei province, taking the total number of such infections in the country to 845. All such cases are under medical observation.

"All ward officers were present at the meeting, which was also attended by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. We discussed corrective measures that were being taken," the minister said.

While Delhi has seen over 1,400 of its nearly 6,000 cases since the beginning of the week, the death toll in the state stands at 66.

It also said that the suspension of domestic flight operation will continue up to May 10. The earlier order was to expire on May 7.

Out of the six fresh cases from Delhi, two were posted at the BSF's headquarters in the national capital and four were posted at other units in the city.
