Lords Bridge Air Ammunition Park opened on 16th November 1939 as a forward storage facility for between 750 - 1250 tons of high explosive and incendiary bombs for 2 & 3 Bomber Groups in East Anglia. Royal Air Force Alconbury or RAF Alconbury is an active Royal Air Force station in the United Kingdom, located in Huntingdon, England. The airfield is adjacent to the Stukeleys Great and Little, Alconbury.
