Было 3 марта, теперь 10 апреля. Ровно между ремейком третьего резика и киберпанком.
Ничего вы, блядь, не можете нормально сделать.

Скваря представила главную тему ремейка семёрки трейлером, который спойлерит ну совсем всё. Я даже не знаю, осталось ли что-то в качестве сюрприза или уже нет.



Тем не менее, всё до сих пор смотрится хорошо. Все изменения и дополнения выглядят органично и логично. Удивительно, но претензий всё ещё нет.

Ладно, песня мне не нравится.



Уэмацу, меж тем, написал только заглавный трек, а остальное - Хамаудзу (10, DoC, 13, 13-2, 13-3, World) и Судзуки (13-2, 13-3, Mobius).

Поскольку я писал рецензию, я согласился на условия эмбарго, по которым обсуждать игру я до шестого числа не мог. В итоге сложилась ситуация, когда из-за утечек все в интернете уже посмотрели концовку, а я терпеливо ждал срока и молчал.

Перво-наперво, если вы сейчас задаётесь вопросом, покупать или нет, ответ простой: покупать.

Если вы удивлены этой рекомендацией, начитавшись спойлеров по концовке, то, во-первых, её обсуждение идёт в отдельном посте, а тут мы говорим про остальную игру. А во-вторых, несмотря на то, что последняя глава игры, - полное говно, остальное перевешивает. Я бы сказал, что пропорции хорошего или нормального к плохому в FF7R - примерно 80 к 20. Это очень достойный результат, особенно если вы вспомните, как давно мы видели финалку похожего качества (если не считать фф14, то правильный ответ - Crystal Bearers, десять лет назад).

Поздравляю всех с выходом ремейка. Вот вам ещё одна порция смехуёчков про Номуру и про  главных героев концовки.

Люди давно хотели, чтобы я постримил семёрку более обстоятельно, чем спидраном за 10 часов, и вот после ремейка самое время. Но важно выбрать, как именно её проходить. Вариантов много, и я предлагаю, чтобы рыночек порешал.

Итак, что можно выбирать. Самое важное - версия.

- оригинальная с PS1, первоисточник как он есть
- оригинальная, но с починенным переводом
- русская с PS1 имени Злого Бухла
- ПК-версия с пачкой модов - можно навернуть графония, но без сейвстейтов
- ПК-версия с модом New Threat: починенные диалоги, перелопаченная боёвка, всё в новинку

Ещё на выбор: состав боевой партии (два слота, помимо Клауда) и имена каждого из девяти героев. И, может, небольшие челленджи, ограничения по геймплею, если будем смотреть не New Threat (там и так всё будет челленджем).

Сегодня определимся, а через недельку и начнём, наверное.

Как обычно, после большого инфоповода собираю ляпы из текстов российской игропрессы про оный повод. Сейчас - обзор ремейка фф7.

Сперва - по мелочи.

КГ:

Нет, потому что после КН2 Номура с командой ушли делать Версус.

Нет, это в фф13 всё было линейно, а тут полная свобода в выборе того, что учить. Спекаться можно в совсем разные билды.

DTF:
> побег от толпы полуголых усатых мужиков из него всё-таки вырезали.

Такого, чтобы хоть какая-то финалка всех устраивала, не было, кажется, никогда. Ну, может, фф6 была такой, но это было в доисторические времена, и что думали фанаты в то время, мы узнать не можем. Тем не менее, на релизе фф7 многие ныли, что она хуже фф6, про фф8 все были недовольны эмо-героем, фф9 нарекли баблостригучей штамповкой (ну и я сам про неё много чего вам расскажу), фф10 - копипастой 7/8 с плохим протагом ахахахахахаха, 12 - не настоящей фф, 13 - понятно что, ну и так далее.

Ремейк 7 был обречён стать крайне противоречивым уже хотя бы потому, что его создатели в конце наворотили пиздеца - это не субъективная оценка, это факт, что в финале сюжет слетает с катушек и игра по факту снимает с себя бремя ремейка. И резонно, что у многих это вызовет резкую неприязнь.

Но осуждением финала люди не ограничиваются. И ладно бы еще, если бы ругали плохое (филлер) или спорное (левелдизайн, элементы боёвки). Но когда начинают гнать на хорошее, на то, что ремейк сделал лучше, я начинаю гореть. Так что вот отдельный большой пост под опровержения необоснованных претензий.


"Игра искусственно растянута, чтобы Мидгар стал отдельным релизом!"

Скорее да. Я одобряю укрупнение большей части локаций оригинала, но большая часть нового контента - и правда филлер. Вторую половину игры (после воллмаркета) я бы сократил на треть-половину.
При этом локации-"города" (7 сектор, 5 сектор, воллмаркет), на мой взгляд, сделаны хорошо и правильно. Ремейк гораздо лучше оригинала даёт понять, как идёт жизнь в трущобах, и это ценно. То же самое - с 8 сектором во второй главе. Многие жалующиеся на растянутость подобных сегментов вообще не понимают сути сцен, словно игнорируя вложенное в них.

В конце 2015-го я заглянул в Final Fantasy Record Keeper – поглядеть, что это за мобильная финалка такая. Ей тогда было полгода всего, сейчас же – пять лет, и всякая игра-как-сервис за это время растёт. Не стала исключением и Record Keeper – так что пора бы в ней вернуться ещё раз.

Во многом я хочу это сделать потому, что с 2015-го я не переставал в неё играть. На то есть целый ряд причин. Во-первых, она (почти) бессюжетная, аутентичная и посвященная знакомым боям из знакомых финалок – она не городит что-то своё, а ремикширует знакомое и хорошее. Во-вторых, она очень мало требует от игрока в плане инвестиций времени/денег: я стабильно каждый день выигрывал там три боя за десять минут, и этого мне хватало, чтобы тащить почти весь актуальный контент и даже не задумываться о том, чтобы занести разработчикам бабла. Я до сих пор не заплатил ни копейки и всем доволен. В-третьих, в ней такие длинные лоадинги, что играть на ночь идеально – за десять минут усыпляет. Ну и в-четвёртых, она продолжала постоянно обновляться. С обновлениями не только появлялись новые испытания, но и расширялись возможности бойцов, и менялась мета.

Я копил лимит на написание этого поста целый месяц.
Ну, точнее, я старался заниматься более важными вещами - писал про сам ремейк, про то, что в нём ок или не ок, про критику в его адрес и проблемы с ней. Само собой, вопрос языка для меня в этой всей кутерьме даже не стоял. Как он не должен стоять для любого уважающего себя человека.

Я выдал свой хот-тейк на тему и решил, что вопрос можно закрывать.

I don't have the entirety of The Discourse jacked into my head, but I see very little acknowledgement from the people in power, or even people with big microphones, that this is an unfolding disaster that can't be remedied with the equivalent of a few band aids. Things are fucked - short term, long term, structurally - and they can't easily be unfucked. Fixing the Great Recession was easy and "they" failed at that. Fixing this one is hard and even with unimaginable unemployment numbers coming in there doesn't seem to be much urgency.

It's been 8 weeks since Mitch McConnell took his 3 day weekend and Democrats pretended to be mad about that. Pelosi won't let the House do anything except vote for bills she hands them 5 minutes before, and we have evidence from minute one that Pelosi and her people are bad and incompetent about what needs to be done.
