A vehicle-carried air compressor device includes a case installed with an air compressor therein, a tire repairing container containing a liquid adhesive, and a flexible linking tube. An air inlet coupler of the tire repairing container is connected with an air outlet manifold of the air compressor. An end of the flexible linking tube is coupled to an adhesive outlet coupler of the tire repairing container, and the other end of the flexible linking tube is provided with a protection adapter for coupling to a tire nipple. Before the protection adapter is connected with the tire nipple, the other end of the flexible linking tube is closed by the protection adapter, so that the liquid adhesive in the tire repairing container will not shoot out suddenly because of improper handling.

An intermediate article of manufacture formed as a first stage bead area subassembly for a split ply pneumatic tire carcass is disclosed. The bead area subassembly has an annular bead core; a bead apex; a ply strip; and preferably a sidewall affixed to the ply strip. The subassembly is formed into a disk-shaped bead area monocomponent. The ply strip is wrapped about the bead core and the apex to form a ply turnup and both the ply strip and the ply turnup extend radially outwardly from the bead core. The bead area subassembly when formed into the disk-shaped bead area monocomponent is placed on an annular holder device. The combination of the bead area monocomponent on the holder device can be stacked for storage and latter assembly into a split ply carcass. Preferably, the ply turnup can be oriented extending inside or axially inward of the bead core on final assembly to form a split ply tire having axially inside turnups. In the preferred embodiment the ply strip is reinforced by radially extending ply cords.

A tire containing a pair of beads, at least one carcass ply extending from one bead to the other bead forming a pair of sidewall areas of the tire and a tread area of the tire, and at least one layer of a knit fabric in the sidewall area of the tire, where the knit fabric has a warp and weft direction and is a double cord stitch knit fabric. A method of making the fabric and tire are also disclosed.

A tire with a radial carcass reinforcement made up of at least one layer of metal reinforcing elements, the tire comprising a crown reinforcement itself capped radially with a tread, the tread being connected to two beads via two sidewalls. At least 70% of the metal reinforcing elements of at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement are non wrapped cables which, in what is known as the air-wicking test, display a flow rate of less than 2 cm3/min, and at least 10% of the metal reinforcing elements of the at least one layer of the carcass reinforcement are cables which, in what is known as the air-wicking test, display a flow rate of greater than 4 cm3/min.

At a carousel origin server, an indication is obtained that at least one of a plurality of consumer premises equipment connected to a video content network requires a software upgrade. Responsive to obtaining the indication, the carousel origin server loads onto a carousel at least one image required for the software upgrade. The at least one image required for the software upgrade is broadcast from the carousel to the at least one of the plurality of consumer premises equipment, for a predetermined period. Subsequent to the predetermined period, the at least one image required for the software upgrade is removed from the carousel.

A method for identifying user managed software modules includes: receiving a query that includes an input module name or an input address range. The method further includes, responsive to determining that the input module name or input address range of the received query is not stored in one or more data structures identifying one or more software modules that have been loaded into memory without a directed load, searching a data structure identifying software modules that have been loaded into memory via directed loads for the respective input module name or input address range.

A comparison system includes a memory including a first compiled version and a second compiled version of a target application, at least one processor, and a comparison engine, executing on the at least one processor. The comparison engine is configured to identify a method in the first compiled version, locate the method in the second compiled version, compare the method in the first compiled version to the method in the second compiled version, and providing an indication that the method is an altered method from the first compiled version to the second compiled version of the target application.

The system provides a method and apparatus for the dynamic distribution, deployment, and configuration of optimizable code modules for use with software workflows running on a single compute device or across a network connected grid of compute devices. The system comprises one or more collections of software and data modules stored in a content catalog, conforming to a defined interface, and having metadata conforming to a schema that enables the modules to be statically or dynamically optimized by the controlling workflow and a workflow manager. The system provides a service that enables code modules to be located, deployed, configured, and updated by the controlling workflow, the workflow manager, or a remote manager.

The described technology is directed towards maintaining and using a version-based hierarchy of software resources (e.g., file system files) to return version-specific responses to clients. A client sends its version information with each data request, and gets back a response based upon that version. Version changes are made by maintaining the current version of each software code resource and overriding the current version with a previous version for clients as needed. The technology allows updates (e.g., for new devices and new software resource versions) to be supported by inserting resources into the resource hierarchy and moving resources therein based upon versioning. A system based on deltas is also contemplated, in which only parts of a file may be changed relative to a different version, instead of overriding the entire file.

A computer implemented method of software testing may include obtaining multiple interactive elements from an event-driven software application. The interactive elements may be configured to be selected by a user and when selected result in an event in the event-driven software application. The method may also include determining which of the interactive elements may be user interactive in a first state of the event-driven software application. In some embodiments, determining which of the interactive elements may be user interactive may include obtaining one or more coordinates of a first interactive element and determining if the first interactive element is a top layer interactive element at any one of the one or more coordinates. The method may further include testing the event-driven software application based on the user interactive elements.

The method for validating the status of a memory of a simulator of a cryptographic component able to save data generated by a cryptographic function, includes a step carried out in the simulator including a first execution of a first cryptographic function generating: a first status of the first memory, and a first result of the first command; a step carried out in a test bench including a second execution of a second simplified cryptographic function, with the first and the second functions carrying out the same operations generating: a second status of the memory, and a second result of the second command; a step of validating including comparisons: of the first status and of the second status and of the first result and of the second result.

A computer system for identifying user managed software modules includes program instructions for: receiving a request for a directed load of a software module into memory, wherein the request includes an address; storing the software module at the address in the received request; adding a name and an address range of the stored software module to a data structure identifying software modules that have been loaded into memory via directed loads; receiving a query that includes an input module name or an input address range; and responsive to determining that the input module name or input address range of the received query is not stored in one or more data structures identifying one or more software modules that have been loaded into memory without directed loads, searching the data structure identifying software modules that have been loaded into memory via directed loads for the respective query.

System and method for validating software development requirements are disclosed. The method comprises accessing a software development requirement, extracting a plurality of tokens from the software development requirement, tagging each of the plurality of tokens to a corresponding part of speech, and deriving a pattern based on the plurality of tokens and the plurality of corresponding parts of speech. The method further comprises determining at least one of a context and a business domain of the software development requirement and identifying pre-defined rules for the plurality of tokens and pre-defined patterns for the pattern. In response to a positive identification, the software development requirement are validated by analyzing the plurality of tokens against the pre-defined rules and by analyzing the pattern against the pre-defined patterns. In response to a negative identification, a learning process is initiated based on intelligence gathered from a manual validation of the software development requirement.

Technologies for native code invocation using binary analysis are described. A computing device for invoking native code from managed code using binary analysis receives a call from a thread executing a managed code segment to execute a native code segment. The computing device performs a binary analysis of the native code segment and generates, from the binary analysis, a complexity indicator that indicates a level of complexity of the native code segment by comparing the native code segment to at least one predefined complexity rule. Additionally, the computing device stores a status of the thread based on the complexity indicator and executes the native code segment. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Embodiments of the present application provide an application program uninstallation method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving an uninstallation instruction for a target application program (S101); deleting a specific directory in a local device to which the target application program corresponds, according to the received uninstallation instruction (S102); extracting an identifier of the target application program (S103); searching a local pre-set directory residual database to determine whether there exist any directory data that correspond to the identifier (S104), the directory data comprising at least a directory path; if such directory data exist, deleting a directory in the local device to which the directory path found corresponds, according to the search result (S105). By applying the embodiments of the present application, when the specific directory corresponding to the uninstalled application program is deleted, other directories, other than the specific directory, to which the uninstalled application program corresponds are also deleted, so that after the uninstall of the application program is completed, file residue is avoided, and the occupation of the device storage space is reduced.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a software upgrade method and apparatus, and a device. The method is applied to a software upgrade of a digital television terminal and includes: obtaining a DSI table in an upgrade data stream according to location information of the upgrade data stream that is carried in an upgrade notification message, where the DSI table carries upgrade software description information; displaying the upgrade software description information and upgrade prompt information to a user if it is determined, according to the upgrade software description information, to upgrade local software; and after the user determines to upgrade software, obtaining an upgrade software mirror in the upgrade data stream, and updating the local software according to the upgrade software mirror.

A computer-implemented method includes receiving a restore command to restore a vehicle computing system (VCS) system state. The method further includes restoring a base system state to a known, functional state and obtaining a list of applications previously installed on the VCS. The method also includes for each application previously installed on the VCS, finding a version of the application compatible with the restored base system state. Also, the method includes installing the version of each application compatible with the restored base system state.

A system facilitates modification or adaptation of a software object or platform, developed by a software developer, by a plurality of entities, each entity is assigned a hierarchical level, the lowest hierarchical level being assigned to a software developer and the highest hierarchical level being assigned to an end-user. At each level, when a modification or adaptation is implemented, a separate layer file or layer of a layer file is created and stored in a database. Subsequently, the changes of the respective layers are implemented in sequence according to the hierarchy, so that a higher hierarchical level's modifications that are in conflict with a setting of a lower hierarchical level replace the implementation of the lower hierarchical level's setting during runtime.

In various embodiments, a spectral graph partitioner (“SP”) of a graph partitioning system (“GPS”) may partition a data flow graph associated with a program into a plurality of subgraphs to be used to perform analysis or debugging. The SP may generate estimated eigenvectors for a matrix representing the graph through minimization of a function on the vectors. The SP may generate multiple eigenvectors to perform the clustering in a multi-dimensional space described by the eigenvectors. The SP may refine the clustering by repeating generation of eigenvectors to describe higher-dimensional spaces and perform further clustering. The SP may also determine quality metrics for the clusters and may stop refinement based on the quality metrics. The GPS may select between utilizing the SP or utilizing one or more other partitioners based on various factors such as, for example, graph size or quality metrics. The present disclosure relates to a method for predicting estimations of project factors in software development environment. The method comprises receiving first input data including at least one type of first software development model and associated one or more first project data from a user. The method further comprises identifying one or more first software agents based on the at least one type of the first software development model. The method further comprises processing the one or more first project data using the identified one or more first software agents to identify one or more first intermediate data required for project factors estimation. The method further comprises calculating estimations of the project factors using the identified one or more first intermediate data.

Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention allow users to efficiently manipulate, analyze, and transmit eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) reports. They allow users to automatically build financial reports that are acceptable to governing agencies such as the IRS. In one embodiment, the reports are developed by a parser that transforms text documents into software elements containing a format with a hierarchal relationship between the software elements, and an editor that develops reports by referencing the software elements transformed from the text documents. Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention also enable reports to be automatically scheduled by gathering desired information from an accounting system, formatting the information into an XBRL document, and transmitting it to an end source. Furthermore, systems and methods in accordance with the present invention allow a user to translate an XBRL document into RDL format and use the RDL system to manipulate and analyze it.

One user (user A) can view another user's (user B) Web page or document and make suggestions or comments for selected content on that Web page. Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for capturing a screen on a mobile device, the method including: receiving, at the mobile device, a screen-capturing request for a current interface, where the current interface includes first data, and the first data includes personal information; and generating, according to screen-capturing request, a screen capture image for the current interface, where the first data in the current interface is replaced in the screen capture image with second data which is predefined. These embodiments avoid the need to manually mask an image by starting a dedicated image editing tool to anonymize a screen capture image, thereby significantly lowering the relatively high technical threshold of anonymization processing, reducing the error rate, and improving the modification quality of anonymization. Moreover, the replacement is directly made to the image while the screen is captured without interfering with normal use of reading.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions that are executable by a computer in an information processing apparatus having a display device is provided. The computer readable instructions, when executed by the computer, cause the computer to determine a format to display at least one setup item, which is required in order to accomplish a predetermined process, in the display device between an icon format, in which the at least one setup item is displayed in a figurative image containing a symbolic figure representing the at least one setup item, and a list format, in which the at least one setup item is displayed in a textual image containing text describing the at least one setup item. Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling a sound object based on an additional image object. A sound object controlling method includes displaying image objects synchronized with a plurality of sound objects, respectively, on a display; and controlling a sound object synchronized with an image object selected by a user from among the image objects displayed on the display. The sound object includes metadata that includes playback location information of the sound object on a specific space, sound level information of the sound object, and display location information of the image object synchronized with the sound object on the display.

A door (200) of a motor vehicle has an outer panel (100) and an opening apparatus. The opening apparatus has a door handle (30) and a door lock (20) with a lock barrel (10). The lock barrel (10) and the door handle (30) are arranged completely on the inner side of the outer panel (100) of the door (200).

Disclosed in one aspect is the fixed door pull handle assembly that includes an elongated door pull handle with two or more support standoffs projecting away from the elongated door pull handle and securing the elongated door pull handle to the doorframe or to the body of the door. One of the support standoffs is user rotatable, and rotatably engages a door latch assembly within the door. In another aspect, the support standoff is not user rotatable. Instead, a center-pivoting handle is mounted in-line with one of the support standoffs and rotatably engages the door latch assembly within the door. The center-pivoting handle is recessed within the elongated handle.

A rapid-access gun safe includes a portable enclosing structure and a communication module. The portable enclosing structure encloses a firearm. The portable enclosing structure includes a fixed portion and a collapsing wall. The collapsing wall provides rapid access to the firearm. The communication module is coupled to the fixed portion of the enclosing structure. The communication module facilitates incoming and outgoing electronic communication of at least one access signal from a device external to the rapid-access gun safe.

Provided is a convertible type computer (PC) 1 comprising a second housing 3 including a display section 3a, and a first housing 2 including a palm rest 2b. A first antenna 6a is disposed on the palm rest 2b, and a second antenna 7a is disposed on a reverse surface 2e of the first housing 2 immediately beneath the first antenna 6a. An attitude sensor 8 detects whether the PC 1 has a clam shell form or a tablet form. In accordance with a detection result, a switch section 9 switches between the first antenna 6a and the second antenna 7a for establishing wireless communication with an external terminal to communicate information. Therefore, it is possible to switch between information signals through the first antenna 6a and information signals through the second antenna 7a depending on the attitude of the PC 1, and fine communication can be established.

A protective device, particularly for a lock of a door or leaf, comprising a covering element which is associated slidingly with a plate that can be fixed to the door or leaf and can be positioned selectively so as to close an opening for access to the lock which is provided in the plate. Two pins are associated transversely with the plate and are adapted to block temporarily the sliding of the covering element with respect to the plate. The device has at least one cam, freely mounted rotatably within a cavity provided in the plate. At least one first recess and at least one second recess are provided in the lateral surface of the at least one cam, which have, in plan view, a mutually different shape and are adapted respectively to allow and prevent the sliding of the covering element.

The invention provides an apparatus to retractably store multiple keys. The apparatus is designed to permit a user to install up to eight (8) custom keys in a compact “key wallet.” Individual keys are pivotally deployed by pressing a designated button on the apparatus and are returned to a stowed position by rotating the key back into the apparatus until it locks into position. The apparatus uses a spring-loaded key release mechanism to release and retract the keys.

Method for monitoring a cargo container in which a transmitter is arranged on the container and periodically transmits messages to a remote site or location according to a schedule of messages. When a message is not received according to the schedule, which may be the result of tampering with the transmitter or another nefarious action involving the container, it may be considered that the container has been stolen. A rate of transmission of the messages may be modified based on a condition of the vehicle, such as the presence of a driver inside the vehicle, a distance between a driver inside the vehicle and the vehicle, the vehicle being at rest after motion of the vehicle stops, a location of the vehicle, biometric identification of a driver of the vehicle and deviation of the vehicle from an expected route, and/or based on current time and weather around the vehicle.

A device includes an actuating device, and the actuating device includes: a locking device having a lock; an actuating member which pivots about an axis of rotation to move a movable furniture part; and a spring device which biases the actuating member to pivot about the axis of rotation in an opening direction. The lock is lockable by a key for preventing the actuating member from pivoting about the axis of rotation, and the lock is unlockable by the key for enabling the actuating member from pivoting about the axis of rotation.

The invention relates to an antitheft device (2) for the steering column of a vehicle, comprising: a locking portion (6) including a bolt for locking the steering column, and a mobile member (22) capable of controlling the locking-in-position of the bolt; and an access portion (4) including a latch and carrying a pivoting rocker arm (34) bearing against the mobile member (22) and against the locking portion (6).

Disclosed is an improved pipe cutting tool based upon a ratchet closure action wherein handles are pivotedly attached to allow successive movement of a cutting blade in response to the squeezing of the handles. The handles are also hingedly coupled to the cutting member to maintain the cutting member in a position perpendicular to the tubular item to be cut while allowing the operator to squeeze the handles at offset angles, up to and including a right angle cut. The hinged handles allow for offset operation without forgoing the ease of operation by the consumer or causing a large reduction in the mechanical advantage. A ratchet allows sequential advancement of a cutting member toward a tubular shaped jaw that holds the item to be cut.

A guarded surgical knife handle includes a handle portion with a blade holder, a chamber within the handle portion, and a slot. The guarded surgical knife handle also includes a guard having an open distal end slidably mounted within the handle portion that can slide longitudinally between an unguarded position and a guarded position. The guard is sized to surround the blade in the guarded position. The guarded surgical knife handle also includes a latch that latches the guard when the guard is slid into the guarded position and a first button that disengages the latch. The guarded surgical knife handle includes a bias member that forces the guard in a proximal direction to an unguarded position when the latch is disengaged along with a second button extending through the slot used to slide the guard in a distal direction into the guarded position.

A pair of garden scissors with an adjustable cutting angle is provided with first and second scissor members. A positioning protrusion of the first scissor member cooperates with a positioning end of the angle-restricting member of the second scissor member to restrict the maximum cutting angle of the first scissor member, and an adjust member is able to adjust the cutting angle by adjusting the position of the angle-restricting member, so that the cutting angle can be freely adjusted within the movement range of the angle-restricting member.

A hand cutter with a retractable blade guard providing an unimpaired view of the blade, when it is placed on the object. The blade guard is unlocked and retracted by a trigger mechanism, which is activated by closing the hand around the cutter handle. The blade guard remains in the retracted position until the trigger is released or a relocking mechanism is activated by putting the blade to use by cutting the object.

A hand-operated cutting tool includes first and second cutting members pivotally connected at a first pivot point, a lever having a longitudinal axis and pivotally connected to the first cutting member at a second pivot point, and a translatable curvilinear pivot connection between the lever and the second cutting member.

A rotary electric shaver generally includes a handle assembly including a housing, a motor disposed in the housing, a plurality of drive shafts operatively connected to the motor and extending at least in part exterior of the housing, and a head assembly mount separate from the plurality of drive shafts, wherein the head assembly mount has a longitudinal axis. A shaver head assembly is positionable on the handle assembly, and the shaver head assembly has a circumference and includes a plurality of inner cutters each operatively connectable to a respective one of the drive shafts for conjoint rotation therewith, and a plurality of outer cutters each corresponding to a respective one of the inner cutters. The shaver head assembly is configured for mounting on the head assembly mount such that the shaver head assembly is capable of pivoting movement relative to the handle housing about the entire circumference of the shaver head assembly.

A hair clipper has a base structural housing with a blade set operably secured thereto. The blade set has a stationary blade and a reciprocating blade. The base has at least one support for a rotary motor. A flexible motor vibration and noise damper fits over half of the motor, and a motor cover is secured to the base structural housing over the vibration damper. A secondary housing cover is secured to the base structural housing over the motor cover.

A safety scalpel that incorporates a reusable metal scalpel handle (500) similar in shape and feel to the conventional metal handle preferred by most surgeons, and a disposable blade cartridge (300) that covers the blade (100) before, during and after use, and is easily mounted and released from the scalpel handle. The blade cartridge includes a blade (100) with similar cutting profiles as standard surgical blades, a blade holder that is permanently fixed to the blade, and a blade guard (300) that covers the blade and within which the blade holder (200) is able to slide. The scalpel handle is reusable, while the blade cartridge is disposable. The blade cartridge is attachable and detachable from the scalpel handle and may include a mechanical brake (1301) to prevent movement of the blade except when the reusable handle is in place. A safety latch feature (2230) is provided.
