A switching regulator control circuit is used in a switching regulator that converts an input voltage into an output voltage by the switching of a switching device, and generates a switching signal for controlling the ON/OFF operation of the switching device. The switching regulator control circuit has a fault detector and a fault protector. The fault detector detects, based on the duty ratio of the switching signal or a variable correlated to it and included in a control signal used to generate the switching signal, a fault state where the duty ratio falls outside the normal modulation range. The fault protector stops the switching of the switching device when the fault detector detects a fault state.

An object of the present invention is to provide a power module having high reliability. The power module according to the present invention, includes a circuit body and a case housing the circuit body. The case has a first case member including a first base plate and a second case member including a second base plate. The first case member has a first side wall portion formed in an arrangement direction of the first base plate and the second base plate. The second case member has a second side wall portion formed in the arrangement direction, the second side wall portion coupling to the first side wall portion. The first side wall portion and the second side wall portion are formed so as to have the sum of lengths of the first side wall portion and the second side wall portion in the arrangement direction smaller than the thickness of the circuit body. The first case member has a deforming portion smaller than the first base plate and the second base plate in rigidity.

The present invention is to provide a chassis switch, which comprises a chassis for accommodating a designated number of line cards therein; a backplane installed on the back side of the chassis and having a plurality of connectors disposed thereon; at least one line card plugged into one of the connectors corresponding thereto via a front side of the chassis and each having an access switch chip adapted to switch local network signals and an interconnect switch chip adapted to switch the signals between ports of the at least one line card; and a loop adapted to connect the corresponding ports of the access switch chip and the interconnect switch chip respectively through the connectors, so as to enable each line card plugged into the chassis switch to perform a local network switching function and a switching function between the at least one line card.

Examples of a thermal management unit and an electronic apparatus utilizing the thermal management unit are described. In one aspect, the thermal management unit includes a heat sink. The heat sink includes a base portion, a first protrusion structure and a second protrusion structure. The base portion has a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first protrusion structure protrudes from the first side of the base portion, and includes multiple fins. The second protrusion structure protrudes from the second side of the base portion, and includes multiple ribs. The heat sink may be made of silicon.

A fan assembly includes a first guide, a second guide disposed in a direction vertical to the first guide such that the height of the first guide is adjustable, a slider disposed to move in a horizontal direction along the second guide, and a plurality of fan modules fastened to the slider, wherein each of the plurality of fan modules is fastened to the slider such that the height of the fan module is adjustable. Accordingly, the heights of the plurality of fan modules can be simultaneously adjusted, and the heights of some of the plurality of fan modules can be adjusted different from those of the other fan modules, so that the plurality of fan modules can be optimally installed.

An enhanced airflow chassis system includes a component chassis that defines a chassis enclosure including a chassis entrance and component slots. First component carriers are mounted to first components and positioned in each of the component slots. Each first component carrier defines first component carrier airflow apertures that direct airflow entering the chassis entrance to the first component mounted to that first component carrier. A backplane located in the chassis enclosure opposite the component slots from the chassis entrance defines backplane airflow apertures and includes a component connector located adjacent each of the component slots that is connected to the first component mounted to the component carrier positioned in that component slot. A chassis venting member positioned between at least two of the component slots defines chassis venting member airflow apertures that direct airflow entering the chassis entrance through the chassis enclosure to a subset of the backplane airflow apertures.

An apparatus and a system directed to an improved hydraulic circuit for use on implements powered by separate motorized vehicle such as a tractor. The apparatus and system include an implement, such as a bale processing or stacking device, configured with wheels to be a towed vehicle, with the towed vehicle configured to be conveyed by a tow vehicle. Additionally, a hydraulic pump on the tow vehicle is coupled to one or more accumulators on the towed device to provide hydraulic power at varying rates as needed by one or more mechanical operations of the implement vehicle. A gas separation process for treating exhaust gases from combustion processes. The invention involves routing a first portion of the exhaust stream to a carbon dioxide capture step, while simultaneously flowing a second portion of the exhaust gas stream across the feed side of a membrane, flowing a sweep gas stream, usually air, across the permeate side, then passing the permeate/sweep gas back to the combustor.

An exhaust treatment system comprising a first oxidation catalyst to oxidise nitrogen and/or carbon compounds in an exhaust stream and a first dosage device downstream of said first oxidation catalyst to supply a first additive. A first reduction catalyst device is arranged downstream of said first dosage device for reduction of nitrogen oxides using said first additive, and for the generation of heat, through at least one exothermal reaction with said exhaust stream. A particulate filter arranged downstream of said first reduction catalyst device to catch soot particles and a second dosage device, arranged downstream of said particulate filter to supply a second additive. A second reduction catalyst device is arranged downstream of said second dosage device for reduction of nitrogen oxides in said exhaust stream, through the use of at least one of said first and said second additive.

Various embodiments of the invention can include a portable power system with multiple power generation modes and mode based adjustable drag configuration. A hydraulic system for a work machine includes a first control valve including a first direction switch to switch a direction in which the operation fluid is to flow through a first hydraulic actuator and a pressure compensator to maintain a differential pressure to a constant pressure, the differential pressure being a difference between a pressure of the operation fluid to be inputted to the pressure compensator and a pressure of the operation fluid to be outputted from the pressure compensator. And, the hydraulic system includes a second control valve including a second direction switch to switch a direction in which the operation fluid is to flow through a second hydraulic actuator and a flow rate prioritizer to prioritize a flow rate of the operation fluid to be outputted to the second hydraulic actuator.

An injection assembly for a combustor of a gas turbine has an outer body provided with inlet passages for comburent air, a conical tubular portion housed inside the outer body and delimiting partly an inner duct and an outer annular duct; a first and a second supply means for supplying a liquid fuel into the inner duct and, respectively, into the outer annular duct; at least one circumferential annular seat formed being carried by one of the tubular portion and the outer body, so as to collect a mass of liquid fuel advancing in the outer annular duct and make uniform the flow of liquid flowing out of the circumferential annular seat.

A system for injecting a liquid fuel into a combustion gas flow field includes an annular liner that defines a combustion gas flow path. The annular liner includes an inner wall, an outer wall and a fuel injector opening that extends through the inner wall and the outer wall. The system further includes a gas fuel injector that is coaxially aligned with the fuel injector opening. The gas fuel injector includes an upstream end and a downstream end. The downstream end terminates substantially adjacent to the inner wall. A dilution air passage is at least partially defined by the gas fuel injector. A liquid fuel injector extends partially through the dilution air passage. The liquid fuel injector includes an injection end that terminates upstream from the inner wall.

A breatheable multilayer spun bonded polypropylene membrane having a coated pressure sensitive adhesive capable of allowing air and moisture vapor to pass through it. The adhesive is formed of a copolymer comprising a backbone of n-butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and vinyl acetate which is mixed with a surfactant and emulsified to produce bubbles which form pores when the copolymer is set with about 80% to about 90% of the pore sizes ranging from about 200 microns to about 300 microns and a pore density in the cured pressure sensitive adhesive ranging from about 4200 per inch2 to about 4600 per inch2, said pores being uniformly distributed to form a flow path through adhesive.

Embodiments of showerheads having a detachable gas distribution plate are provided herein. In some embodiments, a showerhead for use in a substrate processing chamber includes a body having a first side and an opposing second side; a gas distribution plate disposed proximate the second side of the body; and a clamp disposed about a peripheral edge of the gas distribution plate to removably couple the gas distribution plate to the body, wherein the body is electrically coupled to the gas distribution plate through the clamp.

Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some cases, the apparatuses and methods involve providing a deposition device, such as a printing device; providing a transfer component; depositing a material onto a portion of the transfer component with the deposition device; modifying the portion of the transfer component with the transfer material thereon to conform the transfer component to at least a portion of the surface of the three-dimensional article; and transferring the transfer material onto the surface of the article.

A method for making a composite structure with a surfacing film thereon. The surfacing film is co-cured with fiber-reinforced resin composite materials. The surfacing film is formed from a curable resin composition containing an epoxy novolac resin, a tri-functional or tetra-functional epoxy resin, ceramic microspheres, an amine-based curing agent, particulate inorganic fillers; and a toughening component. The surfacing film exhibits high Tg and high cross-linked density after curing, as well as high resistance to paint stripper solutions.

The present invention generally relates to an improved winding apparatus useful in the production of filament wound products and particularly wound tubular products having high length to diameter ratios. The improved winding apparatus comprises a support means for supporting a rotatable mandrel during the manufacture of wound products, the support means comprising a plurality of axially spaced pins extending circumferentially around the mandrel, and a support assembly having a semicircular inner face and an opening, wherein a portion of the plurality of pins is brought into contact with the inner face of the support assembly when the mandrel is rotated.

A multi-layer upholstery item including at least one non-permeable layer and produced in a single operation is also described.

The disclosed composite wood particulate products, adhesives contained in such wood particulate products, and methods of making the adhesive and the wood particulate products employ an aldehyde-free adhesive, and more specifically a formaldehyde-free adhesive. The aldehyde-free adhesive includes an inert additive that extends a resin, such as an isocyanate resin, and forms an evenly dispersed, less expensive polymeric adhesive admixture. The extender-filler of the resin is mixed with water to form a slurry. The slurry can then be mixed with a resin, like the isocyanate resin, to form the adhesive. Various rheology modifiers can be added, if desired, to the extender-filler or the slurry. The adhesive can be blended with wood particles to form a mat that is then pressed into a composite wood particulate product.

A vapor compression system comprising a centrifugal compressor (22) having: an inlet (24); an outlet (26); a first impeller stage (28); a second impeller stage (30); and a motor (34) coupled to the first impeller stage and second impeller stage. A first heat exchanger (38) is downstream of the outlet along a refrigerant flowpath. An expansion device (56) and a second heat exchanger (64) are upstream of the inlet along the refrigerant flowpath. A bypass flowpath (120; 320) is positioned to deliver refrigerant from the compressor bypassing the first heat exchanger. A valve (128) is positioned to control flow through the bypass flowpath, wherein: the bypass flowpath extends from a first location (140) intermediate the inlet and outlet to a second location (142; 342) downstream of the first heat exchanger along the refrigerant flowpath.
