V konkurenci s výší škod působených na lesních i polních pozemcích přemnoženou zvěří zůstává v pozadí další z narůstajících problémů naší krajiny – totiž škody působené v ČR se úspěšně množícími vlky. Vlci přitom působí škody především chovatelům hospodářských zvířat, hlavně pak ovcí, koz a skotu. Jednou z výzev do budoucnosti je tak mimo jiné přijmout rozumná pravidla regulující stavy vlčí populace.

Ředitel České televize Jan Souček vyrukoval do boje za zvýšení koncesionářských poplatků. Zatím ke zvýšení jejich efektivity nic nepředvedl, naopak chtěl peněz mnohem víc. Jeho plán pro případ neschválení poplatků s rušením televizních kanálů nepočítal. Proč až teď?

Předsedou Pirátů se dnes stal bývalý pražský primátor a nynější primátorův náměstek Zdeněk Hřib. Chce stranu reformovat, bez čehož se jí podle něj nepodaří uspět ve sněmovních volbách v příštím roce. Piráti musí přestat řešit vnitřní spory a vrátit se k tomu, co voliče nejvíc zajímá, říká nový předseda strany Zdeněk Hřib v prvním rozhovoru po zvolení v podcastu Padni komu padni. Nejdůležitější je dle něj zlepšit kampaně, aby pirátští voliči přišli k volbám. Bez nich by dle Hřiba ze sněmovny zmizel liberální hlas.

Málo policistů, nízké platy a zbytečné úkony, které by neměli dělat. Policisté jsou dlouhodobě nespokojení s poměry v bezpečnostním sboru. Proto poslední týden protestují, méně závažné přestupky místo pokut řeší domluvou, při níž občanům vysvětlují problémy, se kterými se potýkají. Ministr vnitra Vít Rakušan (STAN) by měl s odborovými organizacemi o řešení jednat příští týden, nejen o platech, ale i zřízení pracovní skupiny.

Během předvolební kampaně Donalda Trumpa se pozornost soustředila především na jeho kontroverzní výroky a soudní stíhání. Daleko zajímavější pohled ale skýtá volební program zveřejněný na Trumpových osobních stránkách. Nejenže napovídá, kdo za jeho kampaní stál, ale také, po čem šedé eminence v jejím pozadí touží. Pokud se například naplní sliby vizionářské sekce Kvantový skok, mohou v USA brzy vzniknout samosprávné městské mikrostáty ovládané autoritářskými miliardáři. V programu Donalda Trumpa pro ně existuje hezké jméno Freedom Cities – Města svobody.
