These include 6.18% GS 2024 9,000, 7.57% GS 2033 4,000 and 7.16% GS 2050 6,000. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to Rs 2,000 crore each against any one or more of the above security. The sale will be subject to the terms and conditions spelt out in this notification (called 'Specific Notification'). The auction will be price based (for all securities), using multiple price method. Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the stocks will be allotted to eligible individuals and Institutions as per the Scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities. The stress is, however, confined to the high-risk debt MF segment at this stage; the larger industry remains liquid. The RBI has stated that it remains vigilant and will take whatever steps are necessary to mitigate the economic impact of COVID-19 and preserve financial stability.
