An interactive annotated bibliography of the history of medicine, biology and dentistry from c. 2000 BCE to c. 1980 by Fielding H. Garrison, Leslie T. Morton, and Jeremy M. Norman. HistoryofMedicine.com evolved from printed bibliographies of medical and biological classics that were originally compiled and published by the American medical historian Fielding H. Garrison (1870-1935), and later expanded and improved by the English medical librarian Leslie T. Morton (1907-2004) - a key reference work, which became known as Garrison-Morton or Garrison & Morton. Jeremy M. Norman took over the project and published a 5th revised and expanded edition in 1991, and subsequently developed this website.

An online collection of British magazines, journals and specialty newspapers, 19th Century UK Periodicals provides an in-depth view of British life in the Victorian age. Series 2: Empire addresses the economic as well as the non-mercantile aspects of British expansionism. Wellcome Library also subscribes to Series 1: new readerships.

South Eastern Gazette (1852-1912 Archive)

The South Eastern Gazette (1852-1912), formerly the Maidstone Gazette, was a major regional title for the south-east of England. Available free in the UK thanks to the 'Your Heritage Lottery Fund' and the Kent Messenger, the title covers much of the South-East of England from East Hampshire through to Surrey and Sussex to South Essex and parts of London.

Historical Dietary Guidance Digital Collection

The Historical Dietary Guidance Digital Collection (HDGDC) combines more than 900 documents on diet and nutrition published by the U.S. Government , representing more than 100 years of history. Materials in this collection include historical nutrition education materials, such as posters, recipes, and radio transcripts, as well as current nutrition education materials reviewed by the Dietary Guidance Review Committee.

London's Screen Archives

LSA brings together the films held by all those not-for-profit organisations in London that have archival film collections. The full breadth of London’s rich screen heritage is represented by 70+ organisations, from feature films to home movies, with particular strengths in public information films, newsreels, films from industry and business or family films.
