Skate Open Göppingen 2017 - BMX Contest

On saturday, 15th of July, the "Skate Open" contest in Göppingen took place. Skaters, Scooters and BMX riders participated at the contest and showed their skills. On 03.08-05.08.17 the TSC e.V. in Hohenstaufen will hold a BMX Vert Contest as well as a skate and downhill contest. The contest goes for 3 days, where there are 3 contests for 3 days, where skateboarders, downhills and BMXers can show what they have on it. The whole thing will of course be accompanied by music from DJ's and foodtrucks and anyone who wants to regenerate his muscles from the whole ride can also be massaged on the TSC grounds. If this is not a service!

With hard-pumped tires we welcome BMX-Riders from all over Germany and Europe in Dresden on August 26th. 2016. Our slogan “ „BMX Flatland Contest on Asphalt“ will celebrate the sport for the sixth time that developed more than 30 years ago on parking lots in California.

Like in the years before, the riders can expect a clean and bumpless 400m² black asphalt floor to perform their tricks. All in front of Dresdens town hall in the center of the city.

The Competition is held in two classes, amateur and pro. We will start with the Amateur Practice at 1 O'clock in the afternoon. The winners of the pro class will be awarded with 600€ price money. Amateurs get a hole bunch of parts and goodys from our sponsors to motivate them to perform their tricks. In the evening the price ceremony is held in Dresdens hippest borough Neustadt at the club Ostpol. So heat your tires and practice your skills – see you in Double D-Town!

On 09.09.2017 again the "Höhenflüge" BMX Contest takes place in Hohenfichte. Huge Airs and street-combos, as you see them on Instagram and Co, you can see here live on 09.09.2017. And all this under the motto: higher, farther, more stylish. In addition to a few special prizes, the best riders of the day have the chance to win 1500€ prize money, so.... off to Hohenfichte! The mood is still heated with the right music. In addition BBQ and beverages of various kinds, in order not to leave the physical well-being outside. Like the last couple years, the "Brüggeljam" BMX & MTB contest in Schweinfurt, germany will take place again. The whole is organized by the guys of the Bike Unit e.V. and the municipal youth work of the city of Schweinfurt.

The date is the 23th of september at 14:00 clock. The park is open all day and the registration for the contest starts at 13:00 clock The start fee is 5€. There are two BMX groups and one MTB group. afterwards a Bunnyhop or Best Trick Contest will take place.

You can win prize money and prizes!

As usual, the guys from the Brüggeljam provide you with suitable music and cool drinks.

The 18th edition of the annual Simple Session contest series, one of the world's most iconic action sports events will take on the heart of the notorious Nordic winter in 2018, taking place on February 3 –4, in Tallinn Estonia.

The world-renowned international contest will once again host 140 contestants from 30 countries and their newest show-stopping tricks at the cozy Saku Arena, the place that everyone has come to love through the series. As one of the most international action sports events out there, Simple Session 18 pits the globe’s best BMX riders and skateboarders against each other on it’s magnificent one-off contest course, so watch out for the ultimate show of progressive riding ever seen!

The contests will again be held in pro BMX street/park and Pro skateboarding street/park + additional shows/demos. The electrifying contest will be followed by non-stop after-parties and make up one unforgettable festival experience.

The Kessel Festival is Stuttgart's Music, Sport and Culture Festival and takes place on 01.06 - 02.06.2019. International top stars of the music scene on the main stage, young musicians on the up-and-coming stage, sports and fun sports areas to join in and watch, sustainability to touch in the integrated day after tomorrow market and an interactive children and family program make the Kessel Festival something special for visitors of all ages.

Together with the STUTTPARK skate hall, there will be a mini ramp with skateboard session on 01.06.2019 and a BMX session on 02.06.2019 . If you want to participate actively as a rider in the BMX session, please register in advance via Email contact@kunstform.org . A contest with the groups AM and Profi is planned. VANS should already be known for to set up massive BMX events for the scene. In keeping with the current situation, things are going a little differently this time. With the video contest "The Circle" Vans would like to support the local BMX shops as well as their scene and riders. 10 BMX shops from Europe will take part, which will compete for a total of 20,000 euros in prize money. We are also invited with the kunstform BMX Shop Stuttgart and are really looking forward to the project! You can find the official press release from VANS below. Usually we run the kunstform stock session at the first weekend of december where almost the entire german BMX scene met to just have fun and ride BMX in our little stock room at our BMX Shop in Stuttgart. This year we decide not to run the event that's why we made a best of kunstform stock session clip and hopefully we can run it again in 2021!

VANS is known for putting on awesome BMX events for the scene. After the Vans "The Circle" contest was a huge success last year, the contest is back in an even bigger version this year! With the video contest "The Circle" Vans would like to support the local BMX shops as well as their scene and drivers. 19 BMX shops from all over the world will take part, which will compete for a total of 20,000 euros in prize money. We are also a part of it with the kunstform BMX Shop Berlin and are really looking forward to the project! Our team riders Felix Prangenberg, Miguel Smajli, Robin Kachfi, Justin Rudd, Elias Bauer, Konsty Rudobashta and Paul Thölen are extremely motivated to go in! Yeah, we're happy, because on Saturday March 11th, 2023 the King of Wheel BMX Contest will take place in the Skatepark Stuttpark in Stuttgart. The classes are BMX Women, BMX Kids (up to and including 13 years), BMX Amateurs and BMX Professionals. Everyone come over and let's have a good time.

What: BMX Contest at the "Stuttpark" skate park in Stuttgart (free entry)
When: Saturday, 11th of March 2023 from 10 a.m.
Where: Skatepark "Stuttpark", Kegelenstraße 19, 70372 Stuttgart (Trainstation Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt)

Riding in the Stuttpark is only permitted with plastic pegs and pedals, if you don't have plastic pegs you can buy some at the Stuttpark

We are not hosting an official after-show party this time, but since the shop is located right in the center of Stuttgart, we would like to recommend visiting the nearby clubs or bars, which are plentiful.

Contest

Classes: BMX Professional, BMX Amateurs, BMX Kids (up to and including 13 years), BMX Women
Qualification: 1 Run of approx. 1 Minute (possibly shorter depending on the number of registrations). The best 10 riders advance to the final.
Final: 2 runs of 1 minute, best run counts.

Prizes: non-cash prizes and vouchers, 1500 Euro prize money for BMX PRO
Simple Session Qualification: Top 3 in BMX PRO will automatically be qualified for the Simple Session, flight & hotel will be taken care of by kunstform BMX Shop.

Yes, freedombmx has finished the video for #easteronlinebmxjam 2023 and we have to say that the riding level was higher than ever this time. We would like to thank everyone who took part in our small online BMX Jam and we are already looking forward to the X-Mas version of this event.

In this context, we also recommend that you take a look at Instagram under the hashtags #easteronlinebmxjam and #easteronlinebmxjam23, because that's where all the entries can be found.

LEGO has revealed three Chinese Traditional Festival (CTF) sets and two Monkie Kid models at the 2024 China International Import Expo, which is currently taking place in Shanghai.

The subject matter may not mean much to some of us here in the west, but the CTF sets once again look to be exceptional, although not as packed with minifigs as they usually are. They will probably be good value, too.
