The Audifier

Description:

This app speaks system notifications automatically, as well as notifications from apps of the user's choice. On my smartphone, verbalization is through Google text-to-speech U.S. English, although I had set my default TTS language to U.K. English. I find the app to be very accessible with Android's creen reader. Note: when selecting which apps Audifier should verbalize notifications for, unlabeled buttons exist per TalkBack instead of checkboxes. Haptic feedback makes it evident a selection was made. I suggest plugging in headphones before going to bed so the app will not wake...

Free Or Paid:

Other Comments:

Bottom line: Although not designed specifically for users who are blind, I find The Audifier to be a very useful tool!
