A controller is coupled to a plurality of moisture sensors positioned within the grain bin at various spaced-apart locations. The controller determines a grain moisture level adjacent each moisture sensor and compares the grain moisture level to a predetermined maximum moisture level. The controller is coupled to a grain spreader that is configured to selectively distribute incoming grain into the grain bin and operates the spreader to distribute incoming grain to create a shortened airflow path through the grain that encompasses the moisture sensors having determined grain moisture levels above the predetermined maximum moisture level. The controller is coupled to a fan that is coupled to the grain bin and configured to provide airflow through the grain in the grain bin. The controller operates the fan to provide greater airflow through the grain along the shortened airflow path than is provided along airflow paths outside the shortened airflow path.

Systems and methods for separating fluids from drill cuttings. Specifically, the invention relates to shakers that incorporate a vacuum system and methods of operating such systems to effect a high degree of fluid separation. The system and methods are effective across a variety of screen sizes, vacuum flows and vacuum designs.

A system for cleaning a grain dryer screen includes a grain dryer screen supported within a grain bin and having a grain contacting surface opposing a grain debris contacting surface. A drying airflow path through the grain dryer screen is defined sequentially by the grain debris contacting surface and the grain contacting surface. A cleaning assembly includes a first cleaning arm mounted within the grain bin and disposed along the grain debris contacting surface. A cleaning assembly powering system is configured to move the first cleaning arm along a predetermined cleaning path relative to the grain debris contacting surface.

A glove drying basket assembly holds gloves in a position maximizing air flow in and around the gloves to promote drying. The assembly includes a basket having a bottom wall and a perimeter wall extending upwardly from a perimeter edge of the bottom wall. A handle is coupled to the basket. At least one glove holder is coupled to the basket. The glove holder has a palm section and a plurality of finger sections coupled to and extending from the palm section. The glove holder also has an open bottom end and a plurality of openings in environmental communication with the open bottom end. The openings are positioned in spaced relationship over and around the palm section and each of the finger sections wherein the glove holder is configured to provide air flow to a palm and each finger of a glove positioned over the glove holder.

Systems and methods for efficient microwave drying of extruded honeycomb structures are disclosed. The methods include conveying first and second sets of honeycomb structures in opposite directions through multiple applicator cavities. Each honeycomb structure has a moisture content MC, and the honeycomb structures within each cavity define an average moisture content MCA between 40% and 60% therein. A cutting member for a shaving razor includes an elongated blade portion that tapers to a cutting edge, an elongated base portion that is integral with the blade portion, and a bent portion, intermediate the blade portion and the base portion. In some implementations, at least part of the cutting member has a thickness of at least about 0.005 inch (0.127 millimeter).

Press tool assemblies involve separable holder and tip portions. Self-seating structure is incorporated in these assemblies, and can stem from one or both of the separable portions of the assemblies. In use, the self-seating structure facilitates proper positioning and seating of the separable portions in relation to each other, and in some cases, can be used in operatively coupling the portions together. Advantages relating to assembly and disassembly of the tool assemblies, as well as improved structural properties result as a consequence of using the self-seating structure.

Earth-boring tools include a body, one or more blades projecting outwardly from the body, and cutting elements carried by the blade. The cutting elements include at least one shearing cutting element and at least one gouging cutting element. Methods of forming an earth-boring tool include mounting a shearing cutting element comprising an at least substantially planar cutting face to a body of an earth-boring tool, and mounting a gouging cutting element comprising a non-planar cutting face to the body of the earth-boring tool. The gouging cutting element may be positioned on the body of the earth-boring tool such that the gouging cutting element will gouge formation material within a kerf cut in the formation material by the shearing cutting element, or between kerfs cut in the formation material by a plurality of shearing cutting elements.

A self sharpening razor system includes a razor having a handle and a safety housing with a blade extendably received within the safety housing. An integrated sharpening system incorporates an armature receiving the razor and movable between a first position for attachment and extraction of the razor and a second position for sharpening of the blade. A sharpening mandrel is provided with sharpening surfaces for sharpening first and second sides of the blade. The sharpening mandrel is rotatable from to engage the first sharpening surface and second sharpening surface. The sharpening mandrel is laterally oscillated for sharpening of the blade. In alternative embodiments, sharpening is accomplished with reciprocating honing plates with available stropping wheels or integrated honing and stropping wheels with exposure adjustability and sharpness adjustability via honing time variance. A controller is provided for positioning of the armature and sharpening mandrel.

A shaving system includes a razor having a handle and a safety housing with a blade extendably received within the safety housing. An integrated sharpening system incorporates an armature receiving the razor, the armature being movable from a first position for attachment and extraction of the razor and a second position for sharpening of the blade. A sharpening mandrel is provided with a first sharpening surface for sharpening a first side of the blade and a second surface for sharpening of a second side of the blade. The sharpening mandrel is rotatable from a first position for engagement of the first sharpening surface to a second position for engagement of the second sharpening surface. The sharpening mandrel is laterally oscillated for sharpening of the blade. A controller is provided for positioning of the armature and sharpening mandrel.

In one aspect, the invention is directed to a sharpener for sharpening a corner edge of a snow travel member, which may be, for example, a ski or a snowboard. The corner edge is between a bottom face and a side face of the snow travel member. The sharpener includes an angle adjustment mechanism to adjust the angle between surfaces on the sharpener that support the bottom face and side face of the snow travel member, in order to accommodate different snow travel members, that may have different angles between their bottom face and their side face. For example, the angle adjustment member may be capable of adjusting the angle between a bottom face orienting surface on the sharpener and a side face orienting surface on the sharpener between a range of angles. The range of angles may be, for example, a range from 85 degrees and 90 degrees.

The present invention is a sharpening tool and sharpening system for sharpening snowmobile carbide wear rails and studs and a kit of parts that includes the sharpening tool and a steering member having a carbide wear rail. The sharpening tool is attachable to the chuck of a hand held drill and includes a shaft attachable to the chuck of the hand held drill and cylindrical head affixed to the shaft. The cylindrical head includes a rail groove surfaced in an abrasive material for sharpening wear rails.

A steel rule die making system produces a steel rule dies having an operative surface that form creases and cut patterns in a sheet material to form a box blank. The system includes a die manufacturing station having an indexing bench that securely holds a substrate. At least one slug driver device is disposed adjacent the die manufacturing station to drive the penetrating point of a slug into the substrate. The upper surface of the slug head defines a segment of the operative surface of the steel rule die.

A blade sharpening system using the interior surface of a grinding wheel against which a blade is drawn along its entire length for sharpening. The sharpening system includes a blade holding configuration having multiple hinged arms. A cam operating between two of the hinged arms serves to alter the angle of incidence between the blade and the grinding wheel as the blade is drawn across the grinding wheel. The result is that a wide variety of different blade configurations can be easily accommodated by the sharpening system.

Bias members are disclosed as either extending along either outer side of the rails, internally to the rail, or underneath the rail. A composite trampoline enclosure system has a trampoline with a trampoline frame and a trampoline bed. The trampoline enclosure is mounted to the trampoline. The trampoline enclosure further includes an enclosure pole formed as a tubular post, and an endcap. The endcap fits over the tubular post. A flexible top line is made of polyethylene or polypropylene. The flexible top line connects to the endcap. The flexible top line supports the trampoline enclosure netting. An extended coil spring is whipped in a helical orientation around an external circumferential periphery of the flexible top line. The trampoline enclosure netting is extended around the trampoline bed. The trampoline enclosure netting is supported by the trampoline pole. The extended coil spring is preferably made of spring steel. The flexible top line is preferably made of a high density polyethylene tube.

The present disclosure describes systems and methods for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. The system includes a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece includes a force plate that a user can press against with their tongue. Pressing the force plate enables the user to strengthen their tongue. The system also includes a control module that can measure the force applied to the force plate and provide feedback to the user about progress and the applied force.

Gas-generating devices with grain-retention structures and related methods and systems are described. In particular, gas-generating devices having at least one retention structure fixed to a frame and positioned between adjacent gas-generant grains arranged in a longitudinal stack. Fire suppression systems comprising such gas-generating devices are also described. Additionally, methods of manufacturing gas-generating devices, as well as methods of generating a gas and methods of suppressing a fire utilizing such gas-generating devices are described.

A substantially nitrocellulose-free insensitive gun propellant for barrel-type weapons is provided. The gun propellant includes at least one nitramine, such as HMX and/or RDX, a second energetic, and an inert binder system. The gun propellant is capable of producing a maximum projectile velocity exceeding 2680 ft/sec when fired from a 5 inch 54 caliber gun and gives a response to slow cook-off insensitive munitions testing of Type 4 or higher, and a response to fragment impact insensitive munitions testing of Type 3 or higher as measured by STANAG 4382 and STANAG 4496, respectively. Also provided is an ammunition round assembly, and an armament system.

Methods and systems for mixing propellant formulations are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of mixing a solid propellant formulation includes placing a first component (e.g., a polymer or fuel) and a second component (e.g., an oxidizer of suitable particle size) in a mix vessel. The method further includes mixing the first and second components together by rotating the mix vessel about a first axis and, during at least a portion of the vessel rotation, revolving the vessel about a second axis spaced apart from the first axis. In one embodiment, the first axis can be a vessel spin axis, and the second axis can be spaced apart from the first axis so that the vessel revolves about the second axis in a planetary manner. In another embodiment, the vessel can rotate about the first axis in a first direction while revolving about the second axis in a second direction, opposite to the first direction.

The invention provides for a receptor, capable of binding to a target molecule, linked to a hygroscopic polymer or hydrogel; and the use of this receptor in a device for detecting the target molecule in a gaseous and/or liquid phase. The invention also provides for a method for detecting the presence of a target molecule in the gas phase using the device. In particular, the receptor can be a peptide capable of binding a 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) or 2,4,-dinitrotoluene (DNT).

A system for providing bi-directional RF services over a point-to-multipoint Passive Optical Network (PON). An embroidery hoop includes a first frame, a second frame and a resilient member. The first frame includes an inner surface and an outer surface. A second frame includes an inner surface, an outer surface and a split portion. The split portion of the second frame includes a pair of separate end portions. One of the first and second frames is positionable in circumscribing alignment with the other of the first and second frames. The resilient member spans the end portions of the second frame split portion and is operable to provide a biasing force for abutting the inner surface of one of the first and second frames against the outer surface of the other of the first and second frames when the first and second frames are in circumscribing alignment.

A system and method for using color to indicate a state of a home appliance, such as an iron. The iron has a sole plate and a water tank in fluid communication with the sole plate, a heater for heating the sole plate, a sensor for sensing a temperature of the sole plate, a user interface for setting a desired temperature for the sole plate, and a controller in communication with user interface and the sensor for controlling the heater. An illumination device under the control of the controller is provided to illuminate the water tank, particularly the interior thereof, in a color that is representative of a state of the iron, such as a power condition of the iron and/or a temperature of the sole plate.

A stretching system to stretch a canvas or material on a frame without the use of stretching pliers and staples. Special purpose corner clamps are used to secure the stretcher bars into an initial open miter frame to orient the double sided adhesive strip on the side of the stretchers towards the canvas or material while maintaining the adhesive strip from touching the canvas or material. After alignment, the stretching bars are pressed down and attached onto the canvas or material and the corners are released. The corner clamps are removed and canvas or material corners are cut and folded into the open miter ends which also have adhesive strips. By rotating the stretchers axially 90 degrees into the final frame, thus closing the miters, and upon inserting U-shaped fasteners into the grooves placed on the back of the stretcher, the canvas or material is stretched and ready to display.

A garment ironing assembly includes a panel that has a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter edge. The perimeter edge includes a front edge, a back edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of first extensions each is hingedly coupled to the bottom side. Each of the first extensions is selectively positionable and releasably retained in an extended position. One of the first extensions is extendable outwardly from the first lateral edge and one of the first extensions is extendable outwardly from the second lateral edge. Each of the first extensions is positioned adjacent to the front edge. Each of the first extensions is angled away from the front end when the first extensions are in the extended position. A support structure is attached to and extends downwardly from the bottom side of the panel to support the panel above a support surface.

A wrinkle removing apparatus for fabric articles is provided. The apparatus includes a casing defining a volume therein and a reservoir received in the casing and containing a liquid for providing treatment to the fabric article. A platen is carried by the casing and defines a plurality of openings for allowing flow-through of liquid. A heater may be proximal the platen for heating the platen to a treatment temperature. A transducer extends into the reservoir and is configured for atomizing the liquid into a vapor.

An ironing board assembly includes an ironing board having a main board portion and at least one auxiliary board portion that is movably connected to the main board portion such that the auxiliary board portion is movable between operating and collapsed positions. A flexible ironing board cover is attachable to the ironing board so as to cover ironing sides of both the main and the auxiliary board portions, and to provide an ironing surface for a user to iron on. A tensioner is configured to pull the flexible cover taut over the covered ironing sides such that the ironing surface extends seamlessly across any joint or gap between the main and auxiliary board portions.

A device for treating fabrics comprising a cabinet, said cabinet comprising: a shell having an interior surface, said shell forming an opening; the device further comprising: at least a first and a second spray head positioned upon said interior surface of said shell, the first spray head comprising a multitude of spray nozzles and the second spray head comprising at least one spray nozzle, wherein in at least one first direction the first spray head produces a spray pattern comprising a sequence of a first spray-on area, a first spray free area, and a second spray-on area and in said first direction the second spray head produces a spray pattern comprising at least a third spray-on area and wherein the third spray-on area covers at least a portion of the first spray free area.

A composite hose includes a tubular body of flexible material for transferring cryogenic fluid through the hose and for preventing fluid leakage through the body. The tubular body includes an inner wire helix spirally wound along the length of the hose, an outer wire helix spirally wound along the length of the hose, at least two reinforcing layers placed in between the inner and outer wire, at least one sealing layer placed between two reinforcing layers, an end fitting at both ends of the tubular body, each end fitting provided with a part for connection to another hose flange and an elongated cylindrical part, which is divided in an anchoring area for anchoring the tubular body and a static sealing area for fluid tight sealing of the hose. A gas tight sealing is created by bonding the at least one sealing layer to the cylindrical part over a ring shaped bonding area.

The invention refers to an ironing aid and a device for safekeeping of ironing aids for smoothing closed tubular items of clothing. The object was to propose a solution in the application of which a wire frame shaped ironing aid is an integral part of the aid for thermal smoothing of items of clothing and better handling is ensured. The object is achieved by their insertion in a profile bracket provided with an adhesion means. According to the invention, several ironing aids can be combined with a profile bracket, at least one of the ironing aids having a loop-like rounding at its end. Furthermore, one of the ironing aids can have a slight kink at a right angle to its planar extension (FIGS. 1/2).

A substrate treatment system for treating substrates in a continuous process includes a system chamber delimited by chamber walls, having an entry lock and an exit lock, and also at least one substrate treatment device and a transportation device inside the system chamber. The transportation device has an arrangement of transportation rollers arranged one behind the other in the transportation direction, for vertical or horizontal transportation of substrates. The rotor of the drive device is arranged under the pressure conditions prevailing in the system chamber and the stator of the drive device is arranged outside the pressure conditions prevailing in the system chamber.

A bearing casing assembly for a conveyor roller tube having a casing, a stub axle, bearings, an outer seal member and shield cap, is provided. The casing includes a body having a shoulder at its distal end extending circumferentially and radially outwardly for abutting against an end of the roller tube, an inner flange extending circumferentially and radially inwardly near the distal end from the casing body and an internally threaded a proximal end. The casing also includes a casing seat having a threaded portion for threadingly engaging the threaded proximal end portion of the casing body and a bearing engaging portion adapted to abut the bearing for selectively adjusting a preload on the bearing by rotating the casing seat about the casing body. The bearing casing assembly may further include an inner seal member when fluid lubricating bearings are used.

Device for taking back empty containers, in particular plastic bottles and metal cans, with a housing which has apparatuses for processing inserted empty containers, an intake chute accessible from the outside that receives empty containers as bulk material and a bottom sloping downward in direction of intake chute. Device is provided that prevents or impedes insertion of excessively large objects into device. Device provides almost unimpeded insertion of empty containers as bulk material into intake chute, and simultaneously prevents that excessively large objects can enter into the device. The bottom of intake chute has a plurality of grooves arranged side by side and running in the intake direction, the grooves flowing into a passage opening leading to the device and whose cross-section is dimensioned in such a manner that empty containers aligned longitudinally in the intake direction can pass unimpeded through the grooves.

The present invention discloses a roller for conveying glass substrate. The roller includes a structure of roller body that is formed by assembling a plurality of roller components together in a disassembleable manner. An axle bore is formed in center of the roller. The present invention also discloses a roller axle assembly for conveying glass substrate, which includes a plurality of rollers and a roller axle. A distance is formed between adjacent ones of the rollers. Each of the plurality of rollers is individually disassembleable. The roller for conveying glass substrate and the roller axle assembly according to the present invention allows any one of the rollers that are mounted to a roller axle assembly to be disassembled individually thereby shortening the time period for replacing the glass substrate roller, increasing the utilization rate of the roller, and lowering down the device maintenance cost.

The various embodiments of the present invention are directed to valve devices, systems, and methods for controlling the distribution of materials to multiple locations. The improved valve devices, materials distribution systems, and materials distribution methods disclosed herein are particularly suitable for use in applications where the materials being distributed are, for example but not limited to, non-gaseous fluid materials (e.g., raw liquids, solutions, slurries, colloids, suspensions, and the like) and solid materials having some level of tackiness, moisture content, or like property. The valves, systems, and methods disclosed herein can be operated without having to stop the flow of materials therethrough in order to change the position of the valve from one outlet to another. Further, the valves and systems disclosed herein have few directional changes, therefore there are few, if any, points within the system where the material can get stuck and/or lodged.

A system and method for changing a flow rate and direction of dry bulk material supplied from an elevated source, via an angled spout to an adjustable spout end having no internal baffles therein and having readily interchangeable wear pads therein which are accessible through an access door.

A conveyor for a sheet glass tempering furnace, comprising a roller conveyor and an inclined airborne conveyor, as well as support and transport rollers at a lower edge of the airborne conveyor. The roller conveyor includes a horizontal level conveyor and an adapter conveyor between the horizontal level conveyor and the airborne conveyor. The adapter conveyor features a horizontal level upstream end and an inclined downstream end, the inclination angle of which matches substantially that of the airborne conveyor. The adapter conveyor has its rollers increase in inclination step by step when proceeding from the up-stream end towards the downstream end.
