 Remember these guys, well they finally made it to the flocking stage. Like the ECW forces, I based these as if on a rough field so hit them with the layers of brown flock. I was hoping the long green grass will make up for the lack of base detail. Although saying that, I did sprinkle a few pinches of rough sand onto the glued base before the flock, this did give it some stoney detail. This seemed to work well so next time I will add a little more.

I want my units in Dux Bellurom to be quite large so I increased the base size to a whopping 120x80mm. This should give enough room for nice dioramas and cavalry formations. I love this era and it’s nice to have burning away on the back burner.
 I still need to touch up the banner a remove the grass from the figures, but now they are done and can make room for others.

Posting videos on YouTube can be a great way to show off your video editing skills, post video blogs, or even your own mini series. Because YouTube is the largest video sharing site it’s also a great way to promote products, or your website to thousands new potential viewers. But what happens when you post a video and it’s either slapped with a copyright infringement or banned all together, and what are the consequences to your account?

YouTube and other video sharing sites like Vimeo for example are great places to get traffic to your website or blog. But there only as effective as the traffic those video receive, makes sense right. Obviously if your vides are getting next to no hits, your website will see little to no increase in traffic, which in a word sucks. So for this post I'm going to go over some simple steps you can use if your new to YouTube to help get your videos noticed. In the next post I'll cover some ways you can take those videos and use them to get traffic back to your site.

In my last post I showed some simple ways you can use to help get your videos more views and subscribers. Now let's talk about getting some of that traffic over to your website or blog. Being that YouTube is the most used search engine in the world right now, and showing no signs of slowing down, this is something you want to tap into.

This is something that needs knowing, whether you’re a bartender or a customer. I already covered the mysteries of tipping in my last post; now it’s all about making sure that the money you’re handing over – as a gift – is well earned! There is a certain way to do things in this industry, and not knowing them can seriously damage your career, your reputation, not to mention your bank balance. Here are a list of things that I personally think a bartender should have in the back of their minds.

If you’ve spent some time on Youtube you’ve probably heard of their partner program, and that you can make money from your videos through revenue sharing. This means that you put ads on your videos and get paid for them. Sounds good right but what do you need to do to be a partner and is it worth it? How to become a YouTube partner, to partner with YouTube you have to meet some criteria before they’ll consider you for a partnership. There are four things that YouTube analyzes before they accept or reject your application, they are 1. Subscribers And Friends 2. Video Views 3. Daily Video View Count 4. Copyrighted content

If you’re trying to promote your website or blog one way to go about this is to use Twitter. In a very short time you can reach thousands of people quickly resulting in traffic back to your site. But just firing out tweets at random and hoping for the best isn’t enough if you’re serious about promoting your site. You need to know when to tweet, and that means knowing what the best times to tweet are.

If you have an Adsense account you’ve probably heard some of the horror stories about people having their Adsense account banned, their earnings held by Google, and being basically left out in the cold with no revenue coming into their site. And while it can happen without warning (Google is notorious for making policy changes and not notifying anyone or always offering a clear explanation) most of the time it’s the fault of the owner of the site. This is either because they didn’t take the time to terms of service and had their Adsense account banned. Or they got caught trying to cheat the system and as a result have a banned Adsense account.

Recently a friend of mine who creates fan videos like me had one of his videos copied and re uploaded onto YouTube. The copied version was almost 100 percent identical except for a 2 second picture of a movie poster at the beginning, and a short video about Christian persecution attached to the end. Apart from that it was the same video, music and everything. The reality is this is a very common problem amongst people who upload videos on or other video sharing sites and it’s extremely easy to do. There are countless numbers of sites where you can download videos and easily upload them onto your channel and claim them as your own. So how do you protect your YouTube videos from being copied?

Let say you found a video you want to share with some friends. Or perhaps you want to post it to your website. The problem is that it’s long and the stuff you want people to see is in the last half of it.

So you’ve created your website, now all you have to is launch it and just sit back and let the hordes of traffic come to you………right? Wrong just because you slapped a few pages together doesn’t mean your website is ready for the world. There are some very important things to do before you launch your website to give it the best possible chance. Using a pre-launch checklist before you launch your website is your opportunity to fix any problems and add any last minute changes before that all important launch. Guest blogging or guest posting depending on how you call it is another way you can spread the word about your site by attracting visitors you might not normally get. If done right it’ll not only build good relationships with other sites but can drive that every so sought after targeted traffic to your site. The problem is getting it right, all too often guest posts are nothing but a long winded advertisement for their site that offers nothing of any real value. The recent Google Panda update was like a slap in the face for many website owners. I like making videos on Youtube, its fun. And while I’m far from being a pro I learn new tricks with each new video. However if your looking to get your name out there, get your videos popular, and not have people leave after 10 seconds then understanding what songs work and don’t is important.........
