कोई भी शिक्षक अपने बेटे या बेटी को शिक्षा दिलाए तो इसमें कोई नई बात नहीं है। लेकिन शिक्षा पूरी करने के दौरान ही शिक्षक की मृत्यु हो जाए तो क्या होगा? आरजे लिनज़ा के साथ बिल्कुल ऐसा ही हुआ, जब वह 2001 में बैचलर डिग्री की पढ़ाई कर रही थी। उसके पिता, संस्कृत के शिक्षक राजन केके का निधन हो गया। किसी भी दौर में संस्कृत शिक्षक की तनख्वाह कितनी होगी, इसका अंदाजा कोई भी लगा सकता है। स्कूल ने उसे केरल के कासरगोड जिले में स्थित उसी स्कूल में अनुकंपा के आधार पर सफाईकर्मी की नौकरी का प्रस्ताव दिया। यह ‘लीव वैकेंसी’ का प्रस्ताव था, यानी उसे सिर्फ तभी काम पर बुलाया जाता, जब कोई कर्मचारी छुट्‌टी पर जाता। उसने इस प्रस्ताव को इसलिए मान लिया क्योंकि उसपर परिवार की और खासतौर पर भाई की जिम्मेदारी थी, जो तब 11वीं कक्षा में था। स्कूल में काम करने के दौरान बचे हुए समय में वह पढ़ाई करती, ताकि वह बीए और फिर एमए कर सके। चूंकि समय गुजरता जाता है और उम्र के साथ शादी भी जरूरी होती है। लिहाजा, लिनज़ा ने 2004 में सुधीरन सीवी से शादी कर ली, जो एक कॉलेज में क्लर्क था। लिनज़ा का पद और उसकी आय, जो वह पीहर में साझा करती थी, कभी भी उसके वैवाहिक जीवन में आड़े नहीं आई। कुछ सालों में वह दो बच्चों की मां बन गई।लेकिन लिनज़ा ने 12 साल तक स्कूल में सफाईकर्मी का काम करते हुए भी व्यवस्थित ढंग से अपनी पढ़ाई की योजना बनाई और केरल टीचर एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट और स्टेट एलिजिबिलटी टेस्ट पास किए, जो कि शिक्षक बनने के लिए जरूरी होते हैं। फिर 2018 में जब एक शिक्षक की जगह खाली हुई तो उसने आवेदन दिया और उसे नौकरी मिल गई। आज इस अंग्रेजी की शिक्षिका को अपने जीवन में मूल्य जोड़ने की इच्छा शक्ति के लिए सलाम किया जाता है। अब उसे पदोन्नति का भी इंतजार है।

एक और शख्सियत है, जो कॅरिअर के शिखर पर पहुंचने के बाद भी अपनी शिक्षा में मूल्य जोड़ना नहीं भूली। ये हैं सेबर इंडिया, हैदराबाद में सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियरिंग की निदेशक प्रिया ढंडपानी। आज वह 93 प्रोफेशनल्स की एक वैश्विक टीम को लीड कर रही हैं, जिसमें टेक्निकल आर्किटेक्ट, डेवलपमेंट मैनेजर, क्वालिटी एनालिस्ट, प्रोडक्ट ओनर्स और डेटाबेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर शामिल हैं।

अपने आप को अधिक मूल्यवान बनाना पूरी तरह स्वार्थ नहीं है। जब आप ज्ञान प्राप्त करते हैं, एक नया कौशल सीखते हैं या नया अनुभव प्राप्त करते हैं, तो आप न केवल खुद को बेहतर बनाते हैं, बल्कि दूसरों की मदद करने की आपकी क्षमता भी बढ़ती है। जब तक आप खुद को और अधिक मूल्यवान नहीं बनाते, आप दूसरों के जीवन में मूल्य नहीं जोड़ सकते। दूसरों को आगे बढ़ाने की क्षमता पाने के लिए, पहले खुद आगे बढ़ना होगा।

जब अनिल को ज्ञात हुआ कि राज कपूर तीन नायकों वाली ‘परमवीर चक्र’ बनाने का विचार कर रहे हैं और अनिल को एक भूमिका मिल सकती है तब उसने खड़कवासला जाकर फौजी कैडेट का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। यह बात अलग है कि राज कपूर ने ‘परमवीर चक्र’ नहीं बनाई, परंतु इस प्रकरण से हमें अनिल की महत्वाकांक्षा और जुझारू प्रवृत्ति का आभास होता है।

साधन संपन्न व्यक्ति साधनहीन व्यक्ति को सफल होने का अवसर ही नहीं देना चाहते। इस दृश्य के द्वारा फिल्मकार बड़े लोगों के ओछेपन को उजागर करता है। एंकर की कोई व्यक्तिगत दुश्मनी नहीं है और न ही इसमें उसका अपना कोई आर्थिक जोखिम भी नहीं था, परंतु समाज में आर्थिक वर्गभेद हमेशा कायम रहे। इसके लाख जतन किए जाते हैं।
