Jedná se o druhou řadu seriálu Iana Brennana a Ryana Murphyho Monstrum, v tomto případě Monstra; první sezóna se věnovala Jeffreymu Dahmerovi. Jen chvíli po premiéře druhé řady vyšel o bratrech, kteří zabili své rodiče, i dokument. Možná kvůli tomu, nebo kvůli dokončované další řadě Monster, se bratrům Menendezovým od tvůrců nedostalo dostatečné péče…
