In alignment with its ongoing commitment to bringing equity and inclusion to all aspects of its decision-making, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) announced today it will be seeking new applicants to join the agency’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Advisory Committee.

CTA will be providing added capacity, so whether you plan to run or cheer on the runners, take a train or bus to avoid the headaches of traffic and parking near the route of the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon and Abbott Health and Fitness Expo at McCormick Place. Extended Partial Alley Closure at W. Lawrence Avenue to W. Ainslie Street: The alley east of 4801 thru 4838 N. Broadway and the alley west of 4800 thru 4848 N. Winthrop Avenue

There will be intermittent street closures on W Ardmore at the CTA tracks to allow crews to hoist construction materials to track level.

There will be a closure of the westbound lane of W Berwyn Ave to allow the City Department of Water Management to perform utility work for the new Berwyn Red Line station.

Extended Alley Closure at The alley west of 5000 thru 5062 N. Winthrop Avenue (W. Argyle Street to W. Winona Street) for alley reconstruction.

Sewer repair work will require an extended partial alley closure between W Hollywood and W Ardmore.

N Clifton will be closed to auto traffic between N Broadway and W Lawrence to allow crews to dissemble the construction gantry system.

Access to garages in alleys between W Ardmore and W Thorndale by the CTA tracks will be maintained during this work.
