The freedombmx BMX Magazine visited us at the BMX Shop in Stuttgart. Daniel Fuhrmann takes them on a little tour of the sales room, the workshop, the office and the storerooms.

The celebrated BMX competition series will take place in Australia, California, Mexico and Spain, welcoming a top-ranking competitive field of invited pro BMX riders and Wildcards for their chance to compete on the world stage for a piece of the grand $155,000USD prize.



The Vans BMX Pro Cup Series is also proud to expand the 2018 World Tour with the addition of two new Regional Qualifier events in the United States and Chile, encouraging more talented BMX riders from around the world to earn their way to the Vans BMX Pro Cup World Championships. The five confirmed Regional Qualifier events are open to registration by all professional men and women BMX riders beginning in Santiago, Chile on March 23. The top three podium winners from each Regional Qualifier will advance to the Vans BMX Pro Cup Pro Tour, and secure their invite to the Vans BMX Pro Cup World Championships.

From the 13th - 14th of April 2018, the 20inch Trophy will take place in Innsbruck again. It's definitely worth it to come on Friday, to have a little warm-up session for the main contest on saturday. By the way there'll be a rail contest as well, where you can win some prizes. In the evening there's a Pre-party with DJ at the Moustache bar in Innsbruck.

The Training on Saturday will start at 10am till 2pm (local time), where everyone got the last chance to get their skills on lock! The Qualification will start at 2pm and after that there'll be a short break for a manual contest. Finals will taking place directly after the manual contest. Make sure to check the Afterparty at the Dachsbau Nightclub to end your day right!

At the 30th of June 2018, the Eastcoast Flatland Jam will take place at the skatepark in Usedom again. The Contest will start at 10am and will be split into a Master and Pro class. This Event is part of the German Flatland BMX Championships and this means that a couple of various flatland riders from different countries will be there as well. On the 20.07.2018 the new BMX Supercross Track will open in Stuttgart and you're invited to celebrate this day with us!
This new track is a combination out of BMX and SX (Supercross) track and will be build in Stuttgart, Germany

Track Details: The course has a length of about 450m, 2 start ramps (5m and 8m), 4 straight lines, which are divided into two parts to provide advanced riders and professional athletes a huge development opportunities. 3 asphalted steep curves allow optimal grip in the curves. There will be various obstacles and obstacle combinations in different difficulty levels, which have Worldcup level.

This constant track is (currently) the first and only one of its kind. That makes Stuttgart to a hotspot for all ambitious BMX athletes in Europe.
The construction works are in progress since 15th of May. How it looks at the moment, you can check right here:

This year's European BMX Trade Show will take place from 23.-24.6.2018 at the Kölner Jugendpark. The only theme is BMX! At the EBTS, Distributions, as well as passionate BMXers or bloody beginners, can get extensive advice on the new BMX products for the upcoming season. To give the visitors a better view into the BMX Sport, there is, as every year, a BMX show with well-known professional riders. On the 24.06.2018, the Skatepark Minden e.V. will host a BMX Contest in Minden, Germany. Warm up is from 11am until 1pm and you can register either on the Facebook page or at the skatepark. Start is at 1pm, where you can prove yourself in one of the two age groups (u18 and ü18).

Everyone is welcome, no matter if visitors, spectators, skaters or BMXers! Of course, there will be catering with food and drinks to quench the fast hunger or thirst. Incidentally, all proceeds will be invested in the maintenance of the skate park.
